Finally a good night's sleep!
I had been having such a difficult time getting a good night's sleep. I'd end up rolling onto my back not the recommended sleep position for someone past 25 weeks pregnant) and tossing and turning to try and get comfortable. The first night I used this pillow I started out with the bolster at my back, my head on the smaller end of the pillow, and the larger curled end between my legs. I slept like a baby! Sometime towards morning I woke and decided to switch to my other side. I didn't move the pillow, but just flipped so that the bolster was now at my front with a leg thrown over it and my head resting on the inside curve of the smaller end of the pillow. I fell back asleep, but boy was my neck stiff when I woke up! Since then I've used it only with the bolster at my back and it has been amazing. If I need to switch sides I just throw the pillow behind me and reposition it. It's not so bulky that it isn't easy to maneuver and it doesn't take up very much room like some of he other pillows I've seen appear to. I also like that it has a more stylish cover than some of the others I've seen. The way the pillow is shaped keeps it snug between your legs (can relieve hip and lower back pain) - something that wasn't happening when I'd try and just shove a regular pillow between my knees - it'd end up at the foot of the bed by morning! Also, the long, bolster part of the pillow keeps me lying straight on my side or if I scootch it back just a bit I can lean backwards just a bit so I'm sort of in between a side position and a back position - very comfy! It's true that the pillow doesn't really support your tummy. I haven't had any issues with feeling uncomfortable in that regard, but if I did I would buy one of those pregnancy wedges (I think Boppy makes one) and still continue to use this wonderful pillow!

Love the Snoogle
I got the Snoogle 3 weeks ago when I was 26 weeks. I was having back aches every day, had trouble sleeping and would catch myself always waking up on my back, which I was trying to avoid due to the safety advisories that the heavy belly would more and more heavily press onto vital organs. The Snoogle exceeded all expectations. The first couple of nights where a little awkward. The pillow seemed too "high" up and I wasn't sure how to arrange myself with it.But it got more and more comfortable already after 2-3 nights. It flattened out just a little bit so that it doesn't prop my leg and head up too high and my body got used to the positions. It's now a gift from heaven. My backaches have gone completely, I enjoy lying sideways and look forward to going to bed every night. When I have trouble sleeping, at least I'm comfortable so I don't mind. I just read a book for 30 mins or so being cozy in my Snoogle when my little one starts dancing in the middle of the night.I use the pillow in both sideways positions - with the closed side in front of me and curled behind me. I still sometimes wake up lying on my back but overall it doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. This really worked for me and I recommend women with similar issues to give it a try. Don't toss it out when it doesn't feel great the first night. The pillow and your body need to adjust! Stick to it for 2-3 nights and it might just be a lifesaver for you too....BTW: the disappearance of my backache it truly miraculous to me. I had a herniated disk a couple of years back, continuously struggle with back pain so I was expecting to suffer pain at least throughout my later pregnancy. I am so thrilled that the Snoogle has completely eliminated this for now. I will probably continue to use it after my pregnancy since my back responds so well to it.....

Nice pillow, ok cover
I bought this pillow after reading extensive reviews of other Snoogles. I specifically wanted the "easy" zip-on/off cover, even though it's not the most attractive pattern I've seen.Pros:- The cover was indeed pretty easy to put on.- The pillow supports me well, though I suspect I will also need a small wedge under my belly as I move into the third trimester. I can use it with my back to either side, depending on my mood/ desires for support.- It's big, but not too big for a couple in a queen bed. My husband even likes to snuggle up to the back of it.Cons:- The cover is too tight in one place -- at the inside edge of the top curly-q. Others have commented on this in other Snoogle reviews. What this means is that there is a taut, hard seam on that inner edge, and it could easily dig into your neck or shoulder depending on how you sleep on the pillow. I tried to massage the pillow around to distribute the filling differently, but it didn't help. And it just gets worse with use, it seems. I think the cover is just too short there. I don't think I could relieve the tension just by restitching the seam -- I'd probably have to lengthen the cover with an insert there.- The material is not very soft. It's not bad, but it's not great, either, and requires careful washing in cold water and drying on super-low heat, if at any at all.Overall, I sleep much better with this thing, so I give it 4 stars. But that darn seam is very frustrating!EDITED TO ADD: The cover pills like mad after only a few washings!

Ok the first few times
Great for the first few times of sleeping, but it does lose the firm structure. And as much as you fluff it up, it just does not help or work the way it does the first few times. I ended up getting another pregnancy pillow and I just use this one as a backrest.
