Great Bedside Cable Organizer
Though there are some downside to this organizer, it's footprint is small for the number of cables it manages and it allows you to manage them while still not restricting cable movement. To use, simply grab the head of a cable and pull. To retract, pull from underneath and tuck away the extra cable, out of sight.Good:*Dowel works great to hold the cables in place*The loops also do a pretty good job at holding cables but allowing for easy movementBad:*Suction cups don't do magic: if other suction cups don't stick to the intended mounting surface, these won't either*Smells funky even after wrapping it in a paper towel soaked in salt and vinegar*Heavy: I used two velcro straps to hold it on the side of my night stand. The adhesive did not support the weight of the unit. Used brush on super glue to resolve this problem.

It's okay but the suction cups on the bottom do ...
It's okay but the suction cups on the bottom do not stay down very well for some reason. I'm constantly having to press the device down to make sure the suction is working, and I'm using it on a glass side table so there shouldn't be an issue. Also when I pull wires too far the wood piece in the middle spins out, forcing me to have to take the wires out, put the wood tab back in, and then rewire everything.

Not for me
This does not work in the manner that I wanted to use it. I have my iPad and iPhone chargers plugged into a power strip near my nightstand. I had hoped to be able to feed the end that plugs into the devices through this to keep them off the floor and accessible. My first problem was difficulty in attaching the suction cups to the cord holder itself. Once I did get them screwed on, I find they don't hold the rubber cold holder in place on my wooden nightstand. Since the rubber is heavy, I tried to use it anyway. But it doesn't work well because I need the rubber to be stationary in order to pull the cords to plug into devices. The wooden dowl fell out all the time. It was not tight enough to hold my small cords in place. So I used the brush which worked somewhat better but not ideal. Maybe it would suction to a PC and keep the cords behind it organized. But I gave up and threw it in a drawer.

Convenient on the desk
It helps prevent cables from falling off the desk, but it is just too light. Some heavier cables easily pull this thing around. For most cables though, it is very convenient to have.

Works as described
Fun product and works well just the suction cups could be a little better and through some creative engineering they could make it slimmer and thinner.

Great Way to Manage Desktop Cables
This cable organizer works great. It neatly holds cables running to my desktop in place. I no longer have to fish a loose cable from behind my desk when it slides out of reach. I plan to buy one or two more to separate the USB cables going into the back of my PC.
