Wish I had chosen differently
I chose to purchase rather than make my own rabbit hutch when I realized that the materials were going to cost about as much as a pre-made cage. But, mine would have been much higher quality wood. The cage went together quickly, but the ramp screws ripped out when we picked it up to move it. It is still able to be used, but it's not screwed in on one side now. It's something we can fix. But, not convenient. The wood is so soft, that if you're not careful, you'll strip the wood when placing the screws. The cage is very small, much smaller than I had anticipated. The bottom section below the hutch is small and impossible to get the rabbit out of. This is most frustrating, as the children really want to play with their new bunny, but it just hides out under the hutch. You would think: "oh, just take the addition off and get the bunny." But that required getting down on all fours and the kids arms wouldn't be long enough to reach all the way. And the latches are annoying to latch, they don't go together as easily as one might expect. When I pulled it out of the box, I wasn't happy. It was covered with stuff that looked like fiberglass, so I had to vacuum the whole thing off. Then the styrofoam was stuck to the latches and hinges and left a residue on them. Parts of the wood was not painted or sanded properly, so I am concerned about slivers & rot. The roof water proof section is below the roof lip, so the water will pool some when it rains. I am wanting to return this cage, but not sure I want to go through the hassle of taking it apart and trying to fit it back in the box. Poor choice on my end. I think I'll just lay aside my angst and live with it.

Strong,Durable,Simple
I bought this hutch for my Guinea pig to spend a week at my sisters while we were off getting married my sister has two dogs so I wanted to make sure he had a safe environment one dog is German Shepard the other a small weenier dog and we knew we had to give the Guinea pig her guest room with all his must haves and play area she had to leave so she locked the two top hatch doors and went on her way when she came home the dogs had got into the room and the big dog tumbled the hutch over and tried to chew his way in but was unsuccessful besides a couple trim pieces on the roof and a few teeth marks in the sliding pan the Guinea pig survived! I’m so thankful I purchased this for my little guy and it kept him safe he was fine after a little cuddle time and his favorite snack

Pretty Basic
We received this yesterday. Upon assembly, we noticed that some pilot holes were not drilled into the frame. This wasn't a big deal for us, because we have basic woodworking skills. But it may be a hassle for someone who doesn't. One of the pieces did come broken, which was frustrating because this was not cheap. Alot of the pieces were also mislabeled, so the instructions were a bit useless. It was actually shorter than I expected, but my smaller kiddos will be able to use it easier, so that is totally fine as well. All in all, my guinea pigs will live outside, happily, in this hutch. And my children are very excited about it.

ok for temporary enclosure
Got this to allow my rabbit outside. Would not be safe or secure enough to leave prolonged periods or unattended- could be broken into by a raccoon or something fairly easily. The house part is sturdy. The run part is flimsy. The metal catches are very flimsy but could easily be replaced. Hard to get rabbit out if he goes under the house- appeared like there was a door access there but there is not. But the house is small enough to lift up and reach under. But my kids are unable to do this...over-all...probably wouldn't buy again, but it gets the job done. Y rabbit gets to eat some grass and its easy to move around since fairly light weight.

The ladder needs to be more flexible
The ladder breaks off when you take it apart to clean it

Not sturdy or durable.
For what I paid for I was expecting something a little more durable and sturdy. The ramp broke after the first light rainfall. When we built it there was no way to lift the ramp to move the hutch ( like you should do when you have rabbits so they have a clean area ). The cage area is not very sturdy at all. The hutch itself isn’t bad but when we went to clean the slide in tray we discovered that we couldn’t pull it out because the divider in it stopped the tray from being pulled out due to the tray being framed in. I would expect to pay 75$ for something like this not over 100$. Disappointing really.

Very expensive for mid-to-poor quality.
The cage was a lot smaller than I imagined. I should have measured the dimensions to see the size, but even still, the door to get in and out of the upper area is so small, seems like it’s designed for mini or infant rabbits. The screws for the run up to the hut came right out the very first time I attempted to move the cage even an inch. I noticed while assembling that some of the latches had been crushed during shipping. I was able to pop them back out and utilize them. Overall, expensive for the quality of what we got.
