Nothing like the zip of hot chili sesame oil!!
Like many, I'm a big fan of spicy foods and flavors. And I've come to love chili oils. But there is a trend among the so-called sesame chili oils. If you look closely, many are now "sesame flavored chili oil". The oil itself is typically soy oil. Heavier and more bland than sesame, all you tend to get is heat. Don't get me wrong, heat is good, but combined with sesame, it can't be beat.Kadoya Brand 100% Pure Hot Sesame Oil is not quite so cheap in comparison to the flavored oils, but once you try this, you won't want to go back. Earthy and complex sesame undertones and a bright but definitely spicy chili hot overall. It's great in Asian dishes where it's called for...but try it in soups, in your salad dressings and in other food you like. The flavor brings an entirely new depth to your favorite dishes and breathes new life into those old recipes.

Very tasty and hot
My husband cooks cooks everything well most everything in this oil, I use it sparingly. The taste is great, but it's too spicy for me. We use a lot of this oil and always reorder it when we start to run low.

Distinct Spicy Sesame Oil To Compliment Your Meal
The super flavorful Kadoya Pure Hot Sesame Oil is delicious. It has both a very distinct sesame flavor as well as a tasty & wonderful spicy kick. Don't cook with sesame oil, use a small amount of another oil that has a higher smoking point, (avocado or grape seed) with a little water too. Then just add Kadoya Hot Sesame Oil sparingly to your dish after it is prepared. You can always add more, but you do not want to overdo it on the oils. I'm glad we followed the advice that others left and poured a small amount on a spoon then drizzled on our meal. It pours out very fast and is definitely spicy, so controlling the amount you use so you don't overpower and ruin your meal is important. We have used it on rice, stir fries, and will use it next to complement a spicy tofu vegetable curry.

best for Chinese food/hummus/potstickers
this has become an absolute fave in our family & we top a lot of foods with it. We can take heat & this is spicy but in a very good, non-painful way. Amazing on hummus and asian food. I also use it to make a potsticker dip: this oil, white vinegar, soy sauce, red chili flakes. yum.

Taste great!
I decided that I wanted to cook some fried rice so started looking up recipes. All the recipes I found used sesame oil, so I decided to try and buy some locally, but was unable to find any. Of course I did what I always do when I can't find stuff locally. I looked on Amazon and found this one. I have cooked fried rice several times now using this oil, and it always turns out great. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell, but since I have never used Sesame oil before I'm not sure if it's supposed to smell like that or if something is wrong with it. It tastes great, so it's probably just me.lol

Love this stuff
I’m a chili oil fanatic. Sesame oil is amazing and with a little kick it’s off the chart. I put this on anything that has an Asian flavor to it. Spice is good by not overbearing. The smoky sesame flavor is full bodied and delicious. A little pricey for the amount you get but it’s hard to find at grocery stores so I’ll bite the bullet.
