I was thrilled when I found these. Our mechanic wanted to charge me $300 a mirror to replace the hail damaged broken side view mirror. When I found these I wasn't really expecting them to be amazing quality because the price was pretty reasonable. However when I received them I found that they are actually glass and fit like a charm. They come with their own adhesive to apply them and they're very easy to line up and install. I've had them on my Yukon for a little over a month now and they look great. You can't even tell that they are not the factory mirrors.

My mirror simply had a horizontal crack across the center so rather than removing the old one I cleaned it with alcohol then simply used the two strips of enclosed double-sided tape and affixed the new on top of it. The tape had plenty of adhesion and the new mirror feels very secure. The whole operation took perhaps five minutes and my rear vision is now crystal clear.

Easy to install. It’s not even noticeable that it’s stuck on over the old broken mirror glass. Works great. And cheaper than a new assembly.

Fit my 07 tahoe perfectly. Be very careful applying. Adhesive very strong and you can't take it off when it makes contact!

Product is good in general (it has the looks of a commercial product made in China), but once fitted into place, it looks very good and give the required result.I didn't like the way it was glued from the back with a "thick" sticker to a card-board. After detaching the mirror, a thick sponge-sticker is still glued to the back of the mirror! I tried removing this and took a lot of time and effort and unfortunately, because of some coarse cleaning, the mirror got affected! If you try to remove the sticker, use a soft sponge or cloth and be very patient.The two double sided stickers which come with the mirror are not enough to make a good job at sticking the mirror to its place on the plastic base. When I did mine, one side was more open than the other. I bought some additional double-sided gluing tape and cut an appropriate shape to stick the edge of the mirror to the plastic base. It looks much better.

The mirror came packed well-protected in a stiff cardboard box with bubble wrap. Installing the mirror was self-explanatory. Clean existing broken mirror, apply tape, stick on new mirror. Just make sure it’s lined up where you wanted! The included 3M tape is a one and done adhesive.Once installed, mirror looks OEM and works well. It is glass and must be handed with care.

I actually had a heated mirror and didn't know it which really complicated my installation (not the sellers fault obviously). The instructions tell you if your mirror is just cracked to just install this over the broken one. I highly recommend following this advice. Removing the old mirror is tricky (I used a heat gun to soften the adhesive some). Then you are using adhesive over adhesive which who knows if that will work long term. I went ahead and put this on as a temporary fix but, bought a replacement mirror assembly for a more permanent repair.

Was able to do repairs needed with this.
