Okay guys, the date is 1/8/20. I bought this generator at the 200$ price point. After I bought this it jumped up to 245$. I was skeptical when buying this, being off brand to the predator generator which is off brand to the Honda. I figured at 200, Iv paid more for a lot less. So I gave this a shot. It was delivered about week after ordering by fedex which Whom i don’t care for but it did arrive and did not observe any damage to the box.So I opened up the box with very low expectations giving the price point. I brought it inside and set it on the table and opened up both plastic side panels with the included tool kit. Which I’m impressed with as the actually give you a decent screw driver. So I checked out all the visible screws / bolts etc. all were tight “snug”. So I check out the gas lines and just general over all build quality and I was impressed. Just to let you guys know my primary generator is a generac “opinions aside I think it’s a good generator”. So I started my research for the break in period / testing. Here’s what I did as I found as everyone does it just a little bit different.Break in test:I bought Meijer store brand 10w30 regular oil “Walmart brand is fine” 2 quarts and 1 quart of Quaker state 10w30 full synethic. For the fuel I used rec. gas “100% gasoline with no ethanol”. Mixed it in with some monkey blood which included; iso heat dry gas red bottle, stabil and mechanic in a bottle just to help it along to get any left over crap out of the carb.“Let it be noted during run test 1 &2 I had the economy mode off”1st RunFilled with the regular 10w30 oil ran for 2 hours on 1/2 load. I used my heat gun on low which was 750 watts. After the test, the oil came out black and dirty which was expected as I could see heavy residue inside the engine prior to filling.2nd runDrain oil, refill and repeat the 1st test.3rd runDrain oil, refill and let it run through a whole tank mine ran for about 8 1/2 hours hooked to a small house fan with the eco mode on.Final oil drain:Drain the oil and put in your full synthetic oil. And fill appropriately. The 3 runs will use both of your regular 10w30 oil quarts.During theses break in tests, the generator purged a little at first but then evened itself out and ran flawlessly. No mishaps or stalling. Running these test in my opinion will let you know if this will be a good unit for you and last for a long time.I plugged this generator into many things “as if an emergency situation with out power”. Plugged in individually. Full size fridge Yes, my deep water well pump for my house yes. Then I plugged in my 50 in TV, WiFi router, Xbox, lamp and clock into a power strip connected to the generator with an extension cord. Worked perfect no bogging down at all. I would recommend plugging in big appliances such as full size fridge and well separately.It’s would also work good for a small camper. Watching you tube videos I couldn’t find this specific brand but you can see what the 2000 predator generator from harbor freight can do which is comparable to this. And I know it’s says 1850 starting on this but I can tell you it’s actually higher then that I believe.Over all I’m very happy with this unit, and I’m not one to leave reviews hardly ever unless something is very impressive or it’s a complete piece of Sh*t. Keep in mind you can read reviews on anything there are good and bad with anything, and there’s always one guy that will have bad luck with something even thow 9,655 other people all give it 5 stars lol.But I give this unit 5 stars across the board realizing what it’s designed for. Don’t expect this to run your house because it won’t. It has a certain purpose.******Before I forget !!!! The loudness of this*****It’s very quiet, sound level is very tolerable. Granted it’s louder under load but that’s with any generator. But in retro spec you can talk to your buddy right next to it just fine. At a camp ground it will not bother anyone at your camp site or adjoining campsites. It would be good for hunting as well, it’s very quite. Granted no gas generator is silent but it’s not loud by any means. You will not be disappointed. I had it running right outside my house next to my window, I couldn’t here it but if you had everything shut off in the house with it running under load you could barley hear a small hum. With the tv on normal you do not hear it. This is very quite and you will be happy.Also in some reviews they say to pay attention the the exhausted regarding the spark arrester which is just a piece of screen. They say it might plug up and to clean out with carb clean. I may or may not have ripped it out of there with plyers to avoid the potential issues. But that’s up to you.The spark plug is a torch plug, auto zone and advanced auto parts do not carry them nor can they cross reference it as it’s chinese. After much google research the American plug is an NGK- CR7HSA. If you don’t believe me research it yourself. But anyway there’s there American number to cross reference to your plug of choice.“I didn’t change my torch plug as it ran fine I just wanted a spare”.Overall you will be happy with this generator, well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a inverter generator with the capability this has to offer.I hope this helps !!! I bought this with hesitation because of no recent review. But the price of $129 drive me to get this inverter. Put .53L 10W30 run it for about 20mins then drain and refill again. The noise is acceptable for this .99cc engine. Fires right away. I can't find any difference vs expensive unit. Highly recommended for this who are looking for cheap inverter.Update 12/23Customer service is a top notch Kala dola was the seller. Quick response with a quick shipping with my replacement item. All I can say is "Wow"! Im normally not an Amazon reviewer but had to for this product since Im blown away. My one and only disappointment was that I missed the window to purchase this inverter generator for $200 as some of the early buyers were lucky to grab. Its still a steal at $245 and Ill further get into why.I have been searching and shopping for a performance inverter generator to replace my Sportsman 1000w peak / 800w running unit. That unit just didnt have enough for what I needed which was specifically to have capability of running tire warmers at the bike track when required. Plus the capability of running other electronics at same time if I wanted. Having a spare unit around the house when I need it was a good thing too. I already have a whole house system but never know.So my hunt was for inverter generators in the 2000w range. Final decisions were between the Pulsar and AI Power units but was really leaning towards the Pulsar because it had more running watts power. Almost pulled the trigger on the Harbor Freight unit but then after shopping more I realized that unit really wasn't a good value after all even if you did use their super coupon for a $460 purchase price.So I decided on this unit even though running wattage rating was 200w less than the Pulsar. I didn't think it was worth paying the extra money for that little bit more power I would gain and determined I could definitely live with 1600 running watts and certainly wouldn't be disappointed.So this guy arrived to me about 4 days ago and was received 5 business days from ordering. Shipped from CA. I'm in NJ.I broke in the unit comparable to Deputy Dans approach who reviewed it as well. I have about 15 hrs on the unit so far and while breaking in I kept a 1000w portable heater plugged into it. During the last 6 hrs of running I said, "let me see what this thing has". I had a variety of electronics of different wattage rating to plug into it to see how far I can push its limit and have capability to play with the wattage numbers. I also purchased an electricity usage monitor to visually see the live wattage being used as I plugged in the various sources. These included power tools, lamps, blow dryer, heater, and led shop lamp.End result, this generator is right up there with the Pulsar and many other generator inverters in this class. I had it operating acceptably at 1890 RUNNING watts with intermittent red overload led coming on and then correcting itself (see pic) . It was operating steady with no overload led alert at 1860 watts and WITHOUT any hiccup! So truth be told this unit far exceeds its published 1600 running watts rating.So far Im extremely pleased with this unit and will continue to run it until I hit the 20hr mark then drain the oil again to pour in full 10w30 synthetic . I installed an hour meter to it of course before started for 1st time in order to properly keep track of service intervals.In summary, you can't go wrong with this generator. It's quiet, starts on first pull, and its power capability is right up there with the best of them in this class but the beauty is its HALF the price!

I was looking for a generator in this power capacity for a while and then stumbled upon this one. For the price that I paid, $199 + Free Shipping I had to pull the trigger.It works as listed in the features section with powering several devices such as a 1500W heater, Circular Saw and other power tools. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the generator did not come with the engine oil. It does come with a 12v battery charger cable, screwdriver and sparkplug wrench.

Arrived very fast, no problems yet (10+ hours of use). Changed oil after first two hours it wasn't too dirty. We have run the AC on our camper as well as various power tools without incident. So far very impressed, always starts first pull and can hardly be heard when it's in the back of our 4runner (windows down of course).

this thing from day one has just dumped out oil. It will run maybe 2 hours before all the oil is on the ground. literally had to buy an oil pan that it fits in perfect to catch the oil! hope I get contact from the seller and am given a new one cause this thing is a pile. Only runs half the time two and the quietness was good for the first 3 times now it gets loud then quiet then loud making it sound like its back firing! Not happy!!
