This is one of the most beautiful books I've ever seen.It's not solely a book about the military; it's a gorgeous travel book, an intriguing story about horses and the noble tribe which raises them, the pageantry and beauty of the Indian Cavalry, the elegance of the riders, their bonds with their horses -- and so very much more.The photographs are absolutely exquisite. I believe a copy of "Horse Warriors" should be in every serious library.

This is a magnificently illustrated book on one of the world's last horse cavalry regiments. The photographs are beautiful and show the author's intimate understanding of his subject and his appreciation of the Indian Army's equine heritage.

The story of the regiment could have been detailed.
