Description
- For stronger exoskeleton of turtles and snails --- Both, the marine turtles and the freshwater snails have shell on top of their sticky skin. To strengthen that outer covering, they need a lot of calcium. SunGrow’s Cuttlefish bones made using calcium carbonate and cuttlebone powder are an excellent choice for the same. You can hammer the pieces down and give them in powdered form or add the entire piece into their enclosure. By scraping onto the bone, box turtles keep their mandibles sharp.
- Even fish and shrimps like these --- After getting waterlogged, our calcium-rich product will settle down. As soon as they go down, the tropical freshwater shrimps and catfish, pleco start nibbling on the solid bone. When you add our product (in powder form) to their food, it serves as an additional source of calcium. So, they tend to consume nutritious food and shrimp makes their shell stronger.
- For stronger beaks –-- This 2-piece pack of Cuttlebones improves the companion parrot’s beak. The fish bone’s grainy texture aids in wearing down overgrown beaks and keeps them trimmed and sharp. Having an overgrown beak can affect your cockatiel as it can make eating difficult for them which can lead to malnutrition. It is greatly recommended to have cuttlebones inside their cage to avoid this situation.
- Good for female cockatiels who are producing eggs --- Additional calcium is needed for female cockatiels who are producing eggs to produce a solid hard egg shell. The lack of calcium may result in serious issues like egg binding. This condition happens when an egg does not pass through a reproductive system at a normal rate. So, make sure to always provide the calcium-enriched cuttlebone to increase calcium levels.
- Provides cage entertainment --- When placed inside the cage, these cuttlebones will not just be eaten, you will be entertained on how your companion parrots will play, climb over, and sometimes use them as perches to sleep on.
