These will not make you incredibly more powerful when you put them in your mouth. I work out twice a day training for amateur body building events, I also have a tendency to clench my teeth or bite my tongue when lifting wo I figured these would be an easy win. They are great for biting down and getting some extra oomph on the last few reps. But if your benching 275 you wont hit 315 the next day with these. If your hitting 275 for 5-8 reps, these will help you stay in form the last few and hit the weight for 8 more consistently. All in all I would recommend them, I have a moderate gag reflex and these can trigger it at times given how big they are but that's just me. Will buy again when my current pair gets worn down. Subtracted one star for extravagant claims

I grind my teeth when I squat, deadlift and bench....anything heavy. My dentist recommended that I use a mouth piece. I did a little research and found out that a bunch of lifters use the new age mouthpiece. what the advertisements fail to tell you is that these mouthgards have been specially fitted to their mouths. Mine was nothing more than a knock off of what UA has been selling for years. I tried to use it, followed the boiling instructions, and almost bit through it. First lift...I did bite through it. Waste of money. Save yourself some cash and buy the UA bite gard mouthpiece. Its better and will last longer than the 90 day life span of this one.

I grind my teeth and clench down hard during heavy lifts, mostly deadlifts, and its creating a hole on the back of my top teeth so my dentist recommended that I buy a mouth guard/piece. I do crossfit a few days a week so I needed something I could easily breath through and easily get in/out of my mouth. There are youtube videos you can use when creating the mold for your teeth-which I found super easy to use. It does what I wanted it to do and I'm glad it came in pink and with its own carrying case.I cant really say much about increasing lifts since I havent tried to PR anything lately but I'm glad its saving my teeth

This is giant. No matter how hard you bite down, it WILL NOT become as thin as the mouth guards you've used before. I believe this is by design, as it allows a HUGE hole to breathe through in the front of your mouth. It certainly takes some getting used to, but by the end of my first workout with it, I really appreciated it.It's longer than I would like. I'm not a large person, so it reaches far back in my mouth and hits my (admittedly sensitive) gag reflex. I thought this was unusable (and earlier left a review saying as much before I decided to give it a longer chance and subsequently am changing this review) but after a few hours of keeping it in for a few minutes at a time while sitting at my desk, I got over that issue almost entirely. The day after I got used to it at my desk was my first workout with it. Honestly loved it by the time my first working set came around.One side note: it looks like it will NEVER fit right out of the package. This is because it shrinks a bit when you boil it, ESPECIALLY the connective piece between the bite portions. This lets it be the correct size and sit on the correct teeth.

I am trying to adjust to it but it is weird. I am a powerlifter. I bought it based on reviews and use by leading strongmen. I do think it helps when I am under load.I don't think I molded it correctly. It is pretty thick and a little funky for the fit. But it does force me to relax my mouth and face which helps for sure. It is hard to take in a large breath when setting up for a lift b/c I feel it is going to slide back which is yielding a gag reflex.Mine did come with a case.The item is nice but I think it is going to take more getting used to. I plan to continue to use it.

I have been using this for about a month now and I love it. I tried another brand for 3 months and then purchased this brand. The New Age mouth piece is much more comfortable to wear.

Definitely helps with my powerlifting. I am able to get and stay braced better and no longer get headaches on my max days from clenching my jaw. Also a relief to not be worrying about my teeth! I have had several PRs since starting to use this mouth guard. While I cannot say they are because of the guard, it definitely helped and was a factor! I am able to talk and drink with the mouth guard in, which I appreciate as it is cold and flu season and I don’t want things I touch after touching gym equipment in my mouth from having to take a mouth guard in and out.

After boil/biting it per instructions with the bar at the back of the front teeth it felt like my mouth was full of marbles. Second time- I shifted it back just a touch and bit hard. Helped a little but when I close my lips it still feels like a full mouth guard. In fact, this thing has way more "cushion" than my Taekwondo full guard. I tried to wear it for a couple of minutes after it had completely cooled and it was so uncomfortable I just threw it in the trash.

I got this mouthpiece because I clench my jaw muscles very hard when tackling heavy deadlifts, overhead presses and squats, it can actually get quite painful and crampy I also have top and bottom implants/overdentures and I really didn't want an expensive bill if these got cracked because compared to natural teeth you are not quite aware of your enormous bite force!I'm female and have a rather small mouth and it's a shame that these are not made in a smaller size but it did shrink slightly when I did the boil and bite. It does feel reassuring and breathing with it in is fine.

I used to use a normal gumshield for weight lifting, I sometimes found I gagged or had trouble breathing. This is pretty good, allows lot of room to breath and protects the teeth. It fits to the lower teeth so does not move around.I don't buy all the claims of adding to your lifts, balance etc.. but is worth it for protecting your teeth.

Followed the instructions as per the packaging and website instructed item warped so much it was unusable. Realistically leaving this in boiled water for 35 seconds (timed using my iPhone stopwatch) will make it unusable I suggest leaving it in boiling water for no more than 25 seconds

This is a game changer, use it for Strongman training & competition! You can bite down & grind out that bit extra with still being able to breath properly! Highly recommended! Have since bought another to alternate!

Any serious lifter will be happy with this.

Love this product use it for all my strength sessions.

Bien mais les explications pour le mouler ne sont pas terrible.Par contre une fois à la salle et en bouche ça tape fort fini les malle de mâchoire et un petit gai de puissance

J'ai commandé puis suivi le mode d'emploi pour le moulage. Après avoir respecté le temps indiqué dans de l'eau chaude, le produit s'est totalement "détruit". Je ne recommande absolument pas ce produit.
