My billy goat, Buster, who I raised from a baby and is 5 years old, suddenly started trying to kill me. Ram me full speed into the pond, sorta thing. He weighed around 250lb at that time and me, maybe 150 vs him, was a definite loss despite my sweet wrestling moves. When he rammed me, I would have to grab his horns and move with him as to not get hurt, trying to back up to the gate and run away. This is unprovoked, just me giving them feed or hay.It was heartbreaking because he is worm-resistant and has great genetics and is normally my baby, who would love getting petted.This was my last resort to try to protect myself and him.I would bring it in with me along with the feed or hay and when he would come running full speed, I would put this in his side and give a little shock. He stopped dead in his tracks, startled and would run away. Then he did it again, and figured out attacking me was not worth it.Took around 2 weeks total and maybe a month of me bringing it in, just in case, and now I don’t have to use it at all. He does not attack me.It was also effective in preventing my goats from eating rabbit food mixed in with their crap, which in turn would make them sick. They come trying to run in the barn and got zapped. Now they run away if they see me with the “hot stick.”Much easier to control 8 goats.Thanks so much!!

Great quality easy to use and a all around great product.. I purchased this for emergency use per recommendation of our vet, due to having larger aggressive dogs attack our dogs. Product is with every $$$ and has saved dogs life

I ordered one of these and after fully charging it, noticed that it did nothing more than buzz slightly. We finally touched the tip and it gave an extremely slight tingle but nothing more. We returned it but based upon other users' reviews, ordered a second prod thinking that maybe we had just received a dud. The second was exactly the same. It had slightly more zap but absolutely nothing that acted as a deterrent with any of our animals. Extremely frustrated that we have wasted so much time on this product. We are returning our second and will not order any of these products again.

Will definitely stop a pug in their tracks and gets them to go where you want. Do use on baby pigs as you will kill them. If you accidentally zap yourself you will feel it for a hour or so.

No Sparky crackling sounds. and it won't drop a human if they're physically fit. it does stop animals from attacking.

This is the best livestock prod I've owned. I've had several over the years, some didn't last a year. Holds a battery charge for a long time & is ready to go when needed. The fact that it is rechargeable is great.
