SUPER light duty
This lantern is quite a bit smaller (always read the dimensions!) and SUPER light weight. It will only really be useful in a light duty capcity, which is what I had planned, so that's ok.

Great amount of light
This lamp puts off a nice type of light.The biggest drawback is....it isn't the strongest housing in the world.The diffuser works very well. It keeps the LED lights from blinding you, which I like a lot.If the housing was a bit stronger....it would be perfect.Definitely worth the purchase, as long as you don't drop it from a high place.

This item is very small, but bright. The dimmer dial is appreciated. I haven't had it long enough to speak to it's durability, but as of right now, I am satisfied with this purchase.UPDATE: I have now had cause to use this little lantern three times, while in the storm shelter. It was never on for more than 5 minutes because we have been lucky enough to get our power back quickly each time. But this little lantern is already out of juice. It's only been on a total of about 15 minutes...and not even on the brightest setting. I have lowered my star rating to only 2 stars because it's turned out to be of low quality and a battery hog. I will continue to look for a higher quality, battery operated lantern.

good value
While it may be 180 lumens, don't expect that level of performance for more than an hour or two. The good news is that you can dial down the power on it and it will last for quite some time. Overall, a very good value for the money, but the claim of 50 plus hours of operation on one battery change is very misleading. You may get 50 hours, but 30 of it will be operating at about 10 lumens. Just the facts, after a week of personal testing.

really only 3 settings: low, med, high
which is fine for the price, i'm not expecting this thing to last more than half a dozen camping trips.

good product for price
Was slightly surprise when i got them , how small they are; apparently i did not read the description very well. popped some batteries into one, and was completely impressed! a lot of light out of it! gave it 4 stars. havent taken it camping yet, which is the ultimate test but so far i am impressed!

total crap ,,,,light and batteries won't hold a light ,,dull flimsy breaks easy,,,I dumped it in trash

Good light and decent price.
Nice lighting and fair price. I would suggest this to anyone needing an inexpensive light source. Works fine so far.
