The Sandman 3: Dream Country

Until this point, all the Sandman volume keep being worth reading they keep being precious, original and so much artistic. The philosophical in deep of every volumen and the world building is so amazing. If you already read the other two volumes you MUST read this one too.

Dream CountryThe four offerings in this book are each amazing in their own way.My favorite was the first one, Calliope, it is about a muse being held captive and abused horribly by writers. At the beginning of the tale, she is giving to a young writer who is suffering from writer's block. Thankfully Morpheus, one of the Endless comes at last.The second tale really got to me, A dream of a thousand cats, tells how reality was once changed and can be changed back.A midsummer's night dream is about Shakespeare's play being performed in front of the actual characters that are in the play. Of course, Dream is also there.The last tale is called Facade and tells of a woman who has been changed by the Egyptian God Ra and her struggles to survive. I love how Death shows up. Death is an amazing character and one of my favorite of the Endless.I am enjoying making my way through this Sandman series and can't wait to read the next.

Even tho this is the shortest volume, I think it is the best. Better than volume 2 and has a great story that rivals volume 1.I love the writing and story. My favorite issues are both "A Dream of a Thousands Cats" and "Façade."The one thing I don't like is that I really hate the characters Erasmus Fry and Richard Madoc. I hate for what they did to Calliope but that's kinda the point of the story.So I give this volume 5 out of 5 because I really love this graphic novel.

I love this series, already read it, so this didn’t need to do much other than be what it is.I took away a star because I was shipped the wrong version. I got the black label print instead of the vertigo print. Will be returning it.

As always and if nothing else, Gaiman writes what nobody else can even come close to! The art PERFECTLY fits the story, the story perfectly fits the nightmare! To ruin a good line "Write on McDuff, Write on!!" Thank you again!!!

I don't know if this was the seller or the shipper but I received both books Volume 2 & 3 folded and bent. With very distinguished marks. I'm a bit sadden by this considering I really enjoy these books and keeping them in pretty good condition.

For the longest time I’ve only been familiar with the first two volumes of Sandman. I’m a fan of superheroes. This work stands out as a work of fiction in the medium of comics that transcends what you would expect of comics in the best way possible. The series itself not lacking in quality art, but it would definitely be fitting to say that the horse pulling this carriage is Gaiman as the author.

Este volumen tiene tan solo cuatro historias cortas, algunas más disfrutables que otras. Lo sentí más como un volumen de transición entre un arco argumental a otro. Ya que en sí no son tan relevantes para la trama principal, al menos no hasta ahora de lo que he leído. Pero como menciono, hay dos historias que se disfrutan por su mensaje y hasta moraleja.

There's not much to review on such a popular comic but I did want to point out that this volume of Sandman has bonus material at the end. Being an old woman and new to the comic genre I really found the included script enjoyable and enlightening. I also would like to say that comics on Kindle are really well done and With the zoom into panels very easy to read. It's unlocked a whole new genre for me. Will be spending 2022 getting to know the world of comics!

I’ve always loved the sandman comics. I’ve really enjoyed reading this. Great art and great stories. Neil Gaiman’s creativity is very unique. Totally recommended!!!
