I'm not a supplement guy, or herbal remedy believer so I was really surprised that this stuff worked for *my issue*.I sprained my ankle pretty badly and even after it healed (mostly) I had persistent swelling. After runs it would flair up and re-swell, even swelling down into my foot. This went on for over 6 months with no sign of improvement. Someone suggested I try turmeric. OK....After about 2 weeks of taking this, the swelling rapidly improved! I took 3 pills/day for 2 months and the swelling never returned!I've tried taking it when I didn't have any injuries and did not notice ANY effect, so *my* suggestion is only to take as needed.Side note, a friend tried it for swelling after a surgery and he had zero response so your mileage may vary.They are a little hard to swallow - not because of size, but because they are very light and "float" in your mouth. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting.

First off this is not any medical advice and i am not a professional.I can only relay my reasoning on what and how I did taking this stuff.I have a whole host of medical problems, i am not 2 blood thinners etc.On my research the tumeric 500 to 1000mg can affect INR readings.I spoke with my nurse qt my heart doctor office and suggested starting with 500 mg.Most people that have there INR tested it's like once month.I have a home a home INR kit and test at least once a week.In my case with all my meds and in my case it had no significant affect on my INR and I have been taking this for a few months it has helped me taking this and has not affected my INR.Please talk to your doctor first, please I am only giving my results for me.For the product it well worth the money for how much you get vs a store and the manufacturer is well known and not a fly by night.Product, shipping, cost etc is a great value
