The pure Fix premium fixed gear single speed is the perfect bike to take your riding to the next level. Built with an updated urban geometry double-butted 4130 chromoly frame, raked chrome fork and polished silver quill stem, the classic styled premium bicycle was bred to be lighter, stiffer, and faster. An alloy headset holds the pure Fix pre-wrapped alloy handlebars on a pure Fix stem and the pure Fix drome saddle provides a nice mix of comfort and raciness. The easily removable Tektro front brakes stop when asked and the sealed bearing hubs will allow your ride to roll more smoothly without losing speed over time to friction. Thick slick 700x28 tires with Kenda tubes on 30mm deep dish double-walled alloy rims gives you control and contact. Pressure retention is courtesy of 60mm Presta valves. Pure Fix pedals connect you to a three-piece sealed bearing crank set. The gear ratio is 44: 16 with 74.25 gear inches using a KMC chain. Celebrating bicycling for all that it offers, Pure Cycles, built to live, ride, and thrive right where you do offers a variety of frame, geometry, and gearing options as well as a cornucopia of compatible accessories, including different styles of handlebars, saddles, water bottle cages, foot straps, and more.

Great Bike
I purchased this bike in Pre-Owned condition from Amazon. The bike came in a cannondale box. It was properly packaged and in very good condition when it arrived. There was a couple scratches and wear spots on the paint, but other than that, it appeared the bike was brand new. It was easy to assemble and it was clear the bike had no major flaws with the design or build. It appears one axle nut was lost during shipping. For less than half the price of a new bike, I was shocked that the bike was in as good of condition as it is in. The bike features sealed hub bearings, Chromoly frame and many features that you would expect on a bike in the $500 price range. I am doing 4 stars because the rear wheel was out of true and the missing axle nut. These are minor compared to the value I got for under $200. I likely would have gone with another option for a bike had I been buying new. For instance the Kilo TT is at the same price point and has more value for the money.

I like simple.
Yes, it looks cool, and I enjoy that aspect. No, I’m not a diehard biker. I’m just a simple guy who wants a free commute to work while getting exercise while I’m at it. There’s different kinds of bikers out there. I like simple. I like buying things online. I’m getting into biking and consider myself a novice. Really, for my criteria, it doesn’t get much better than this. Simple assembly with an online guide that teaches you a thing or two gets you a clean, solid, good-looking bike. First day of riding it and it feels great. This is a big upgrade from my 30-year-old, never-tuned-up mountain bike that creaks and has a hard time shifting gears. The simplicity of a single speed/fixie for an admittedly novice guy like myself is appealing. Fewer parts, fewer things to maintain and repair, and less expensive at that.

Decent for the price
I use this bike as a backup or when I ride with slower groups. The steering is a bit twitchy and handlebars are quite narrow, but after a few rides I got used to it. It cruises nicely at around 20 to 21 mph. I expected a bit more quality for the price however. First upgrade was some Shimano pedals.

For someone like myself, who hasn't ridden a bike and years
For someone like myself, who hasn't ridden a bike in years, it is immediately obvious that, Pure Fix, builds a great quality bike, which is apparent in its design and aesthetic look, that they've put a lot of thought into their product.I've never had a street bike before buying this one and although there's a bit of a learning curve, especially in adjusting my riding style from a free wheel, to a fixed gear bike, I am thoroughly enjoying how smoothly it rides and how it fits my height and body type perfectly. I'm really glad I made this purchase.

Fantastic build quality
Fantastic build quality, light weight and beautiful! Make sure that you have your bike assembled at a licensed shop to maintain the warranty.

Good bike for a simple good looking ride.
Great bike for an amateur in my situation. Rides great and the sizing is accurate. Assembly is mostly straightforward but requires some patience.

A great bike with incredible value
A great bike with incredible value. Classic styling plus quality without a b.s. hyped up price. Even got a bottle of touch up paint included. In your face, big name bicycles! I scored well with this bike. Maybe a wheelie in front of the local Trek store, soon. Purecycles PureFix Premium Coolidge Rocks!

I customized it and now I love it!! PLEASE READ.
I ordered the Pure Fix Premium Harding Chrome bicycle and after customizing it, I love my bike now. However, when I recieved it, I noticed that many parts were different than what was shown on the websites. I knew that I was going to swap some parts anyway however, I really wanted Thickslick tires and I received Hutchisons instead. I didn't want Hutchisons and I was not happy at all about that so I complained to both Amazon and Pure Cycles. After complaining, Pure Cycles finally updated the pictures and descriptions on purecycles.com. However, after having complained to amazon also, the picture was replaced but the description remained unchanged and still mentions Thickslick tires so beware of you want these tires. I ended up recieving a $137 credit from Amazon and Pure Fix quickly shipped me new Thickslicks, so thank you to Eric from Pure Cycles.I customized the bike so SEE PICTURES (one of the pics is with the original parts). I swapped some parts (Thickslick tires, black Brooks B17 Imperial Saddle, Pure Fix riser handlebars, Oury grips, a rear brake, flask holder, LED lights and chrome cable clips). I even drilled my front fork and replaced my nutted front caliper for a recessed type (I ordered a front and rear Miche Performance caliper set from chainreaction and they are basically rebranded Tektros that work perfectly). Yes, i know, I changed A LOT of parts but now I absolutely LOVE my new bike! It is super fast and is a smooth and comfortable ride. In the future, I will surely replace the chain for a chrome half-link chain. I will also upgrade the freewheel one day, but so far, the original one is doing the job just fine.My only complaint is that the chrome frame doesn't have that super shiny reflective mirror finish and that the fork is brushed and clear coated instead of chromed. However, It's still nice a nice frame and I do get lots of compliments. I noticed that it turns a lot of heads. The finish, as well as the fact the bike arrived with different parts than was advertised forced me to remove a star. I hope this review helped.
