A great paring of two extremely entertaining baseball films come together in this nice compact blu ray package. Both film's transfer to Blu Ray are a huge improvement over past DVD releases and all bonus material has been carried over to make this doubler feature release a bargain for fans of the films.What makes this pairing even more interesting is that the theatrical versions and original scripted versions of these films had much different tones. Both films theatrical release were crowd pleasers, but watching deleted scenes and or source material and you'll find much heavier and darker themes in these films. Personally, I think the right decisions were made for both of these films. The extra baggage really didn't fit either of the stories with the tone set in each film.The Natural has had 2 DVD releases, the original theatrical cut and the director's cut. Both releases had different bonus features on them. I was happy to find that all are included here. With over 2 hours of material including making of the film, changes in story, photography and the history of the book and sport, these features are some of the best I've seen especially on such a bargain priced package. Thankfully the superior theatrical release of the film is presented here, not the half hearted directer's cut which didn't correct much of the criticism concerning the differences with the book. I think the filmmakers were trying to create a film that evoked the way Americans felt about baseball in those times and they way old timers recall those early days of the game. Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and so many other players from the era had a larger than life quality about them, certainly a folklore that surrounded them. I feel this was what Redford wanted from this story instead or the darker ending from the book. While I believe the book could make an excellent movie, I find this version to be worthy of seeing and a guilty pleasure.A League of their Own is presented here as it was on the 20th anniversary Blu Ray, with all bonus features ported over and an excellent transfer. While both films have been criticized for being formulaic, there is no denying their entertainment value and staying power. Tom Hanks gives a memorable performance and the cast made up of stars and unknowns seem to be having fun making this film.If you're looking to add these films to your collection, this double feature 2 disc set is a great deal.

I had them on regular dvd, Now I have them on Blu Ray. I watch them, especially"A league of their own" at least 4 times a year.

This movie has been around a while. It is based on the true story of these amazing ladies. If you are a fan of baseball, or just want to see a good movie you’ll enjoy this movie.

This Blu-ray set was advertised as a double feature A League of Their Own/ The Natural; I was looking forward to watching both, and only A League of Their Own was in the Blu-ray case; buyer beware!!

Okay maybe The Sandlot might be somewhere in between, but these two movies hold enormous love in every Baseball fan’s heart.The fact that they are both in one box makes it all the better.Great acting performances in both movies, great writing, and both have the best finales in sports.Even if you don’t enjoy baseball, these movies are both engaging and iconic. Worth your purchase.

Always loved this movie. It's a warm happy movie without nudity and sex through out it. The Baseball theme of the movie about women's baseball during the world war two era is great. You can watch it with your family and then watch it again cause your hooked!! The cast is perfect, Geena Davis, Madonna, Tom Hanks, Rosie O'Donnel, John Lovitz, Gary Marshall and others. They all work well together on this film. It just puls you in and holds you attention. You will laugh you wil cry. Youll totally enjoy this movie

Some of you may be here because you’ve noticed the digital version of this film doesn’t match with you memories. The digital version was recut and has killed everything we loved about the original. Two great movies at a bargain. Big improvement from my LaserDisc 😃
