This is an awesome pump. I am using it to heat an above ground 400 gallon pool. The pump fittings work well with standard garden hose fittings. There are no leaks. This pump is extremely quiet. I hardly know it's on. The 3 speeds don't make a difference for my application because the bottleneck is at my water heater end.Only one thing to be careful about is that for the first use drain some of the water or fluid. There was some oil or lubricant from the manufacturing process that got dispensed into my pool..Except for that the experience with this pump has been fantastic.

The pump most definitely increases our water pressure to a much more satisfying spray. We love our showers and love that we can run multiple fixtures with little difference in water flow. We experience a pressure boost of literal 8-12psi. The down side.... one of the threads are starting to seep water even with a bunch of tape on the threads and a godly turn. It drips at a rate of roughly a drop a minute now. My husband noticed that the threads were a touch different than the standard threads and thought he accommodated with 8-10 wraps of plumbers tape. The other downfall is that with the pump constantly running it is getting warmer and warmer to the point where if you touch it it will burn you after 15 seconds. We don't know if its normal, but its nerve wrecking wondering if were going to have a fire or a water leak.*update almost a year later*Pump doesn't create pressure anymore. It turn on and you clearly feel when its on vs off but my pressure gauge says not a single difference. I am filing a claim so we will see what happens.*update 2x*I called Amazon and they ordered a replacement for me. The pump functioned perfect again for a month until my wife smelled something burning while I was at work. She traced the smell to the pump that was on for only 45mins that was so hot that it melted the piping! These pumps are a HUGE safety issue! We have ours hooked up to a smart plug controlled by alexa and turn it on when were looking for the little extra pressure with our showers or running the sprinkler if we do. I am astonished that everyone isn't experiancing these issues like we have.

The pump casting itself has threaded of an unknown size. The nipple adapters are required for connection use as the pump body has proprietary size connection with washer. The nipple adapters fit the pump fine - but the nipples are a very thin extrusion and the "pipe threads" for connection are so shallow I didn't even try to use them. Rather I used braided tubing that fit snuggly over them and a hose clamps. Working great, quiet with good flow. So 1 ding for the useless pipe nipple threads.

It is more of a circulation pump, not a pressure booster

I used this for a home-made TIG torch cooler. The item worked like a charm.

Ça dit bien pompe de circulation qui permet d'augmenter la pression d'eau existante... dans notre cas on voulait pomper l'eau stagnante (pas de pression d'eau) et ça ne fonctionne pas... Dans le manuel c'est expliqué l'eau qui est dans un bassin plus haut (exemple réservoir de pluie sur le toi) avec la gravité l'eau descend donc c'est la pompe idéale dans ce cas pour diffuser l'eau dans la maison... Bonne chance j'espère vous avoir dirigé un peu mieux pour vous éviter d'avoir à retourner l'article.

I purchased this to boost the pressure for my garden water system and although it has improved the pressure somewhat it still does not provide the pressure needed to run 7 water heads 3 to 4 feet apart. So I have to shut a few heads off to get more pressure…..it may be great for small areas.

The pump work and pumps well but sometimes it gets stuck and turns on and off over and over even after the water has stopped got to unplug it and reset when this happens annoying

The pump does not seem to move water the way it was listed.... The pump is not load when running .. pump is not worth the money I paid for it

This is a simple circulation pump, not a pressure booster, and has no automatic setting so cannot be used as a pressure booster. It may be perfectly useable as a circulation pump, I can't comment on that, but it's not the pressure booster it is advertised as.
