Body Buddy Non-Absorbent Lotion Applicator (Cream) by Body Buddy

This outstanding product was only $18.95 the last time I bought it (two of them) from Amazon in 2019. I’ve owned several of them over the years. I keep two so I can throw one into the cold-water laundry hamper every now and then. (I’m a septuagenarian eczema sufferer who lives alone.) I suppose that the higher price scares some folks off. I can only tell you that it’s perfect for the task of applying any kind of lotion or cream to your own back. A few balms or ointments might be too thick to spread this way.

I use this several times a week. It’s easy to wipe clean. I used to have one in red, but the color started to come off when I used it so I threw it out. So far no problem with the beige, but maybe I just can’t see it?

Been using the Body Buddy for decades. I buy them as gifts and am always told how often it’s being used for dry skin in the winter as well as applying sunscreen.The Body Buddy is very durable even after being machine washed time after time. It’s the BEST product of this type you can buy!

This is the 2nd Body Buddy I’ve had. Lost the first. I researched to see if there was a newer &/or better one out there when I lost it and there’s not. These guys work so well, really easy to keep clean, even application of lotion. I use it every single day. For tall people out there, I have really long arms and it’s still very easy to use. Highly recommend.

This is exactly what you need if you need to apply anything to your back by yourself. I have a bad back and shoulder . I have to use Voltaren gel three times a day and with the body buddy I’m able to apply it wherever I need it by my self. This is the original one and the best. Over the years I have bought at least 6 or 7 of these and love it. There are cheaper items similar to this but they are not as good and do not hold up as long

Does it work? Yes.Could it be improved? YesWould you buy it again? For $10 yes, but not at the price I paid (which was 2x as much.)This item is feels like a length of pleather (fake leather) attached by two stretchy ends (handles) to pull on. I dislike the stretchy handles, when they break one day I'll hand sew on cloth handles. The stretchy ends give too much flexibility, the applicator twists on my back and/or is harder to drag across when you have any lotion on it. I believe if the handles were cloth with no real give that the lotion would be easier to apply.This applicator does apply lotion when I can get it in the right angles. I lotion my back daily now since I have a helping 'hand,' my husband used to do it but now that we have opposite schedules I can get out of the shower and not feel dry soon after. Also I managed to get myself a 2nd degree burn last year trying to garden for the first time, this baby would have really helped out re-applying lotion every 30-60 minutes!

I absolutely love this for putting lotion on my back. I have recommended it to so many of my patients, I am a physical therapist.
