Where I fish can be rather harsh on leaders. All manner of oyster beds, barnacles and rocks are in these waters. This leader has taken it all, even surviving a few toothy mackerel. All without being overly difficult to tie a knot in. Can't ask for much more than that.

I found this to be good quality leader line. Granted, I can't really tell the difference between brands, but this is just as good as any other line I've purchased. What sets this apart and made it a 5-star product are three points:1. I could get it in 130 pound test. That's just a wee bit thicker than 100 pound, but I'm finding it to make all the difference in terms of strength and longevity. While 100, 150 and 200 pound test are not too had to find, this was the first time I was able to find 130 pound.2. I could get a small spool (35 yards). I don't use much leader line, so while buying a big spool does cost less per foot/yard, the money is wasted when I lose the spool (which is why I had to purchase this)3. It comes on a very nice plastic spool with an edge guard. I've uploaded a picture. I thought it would be in a plastic bag as pictured, but my order came on a spool.Now, I just have to make sure I don't lose this one too!

Works exactly as I intended! Toughest part was drilling tiny hole in sunglasses earpiece end. Be careful to use the memory to your advantage. Oh, and I’m sure it works just fine as heavy leader material as well.

About this too attach my ham radio antenna to the tree. It works great and allows for some flexibility, which is necessary. No problem with the product.

Striped bass really like this :) unfortunately we have two throwback the big ones these days! That's almost 50 lb fish the leader worked well.
