Gobel Charlotte Mold, Gray

This is “the” classic French Charlotte mold. It is identical to the one Julia Clild used . It’s a great size and fits well into most smaller and standard size kitchen cabinets for storage. If you are planning on doing some French cooking and want to be as authentic as possible…then this one is for you!

I love this mold. It helped me create a beautiful charlotte dessert for company that looked nearly professional. It also beats trying to repurpose other containers (eg, springform pans). The seller shipped it in a timely fashion, too. I will be using it often this summer!

I bought this pan to use as a Timbale pan. For baking WITH a Bain Marie this pan is fine. However, it isn't nearly as heavy as some of the French tinned models and I would not recommend using it on it's own. It is a good pan for a non-baked item, light and a nice shape. But,for baking without a water bath, I would recommend a heavier version.( NOTE- This is not sold as being a Timbale pan, but it is the classic Timbale shape.)

Made ladyfingers in my So;olp,art SF103/C ladyfinger mold(see review) and they fit perfectly in this Charlote Mold.. Everything came out perfect. Can hardly to try a savory dish using this mold. Very well made.

Heavy and nice quality pan. Hand wash and it stays pretty. Side handles make it easy to assist in getting your Charolette out.

Go 🇫🇷!It’s a nice traditional mold, would have liked it to be non sticky as it is a little hard to un mold the cake since it s so deep but it does the job!

Much bigger than expected, great product. But be careful that they are what you need.

The product meets the description, but the material is weak. Even a light washing will produce damage on the surface which prevents further usage. Essentially it cannot withstand any cleaning except the one with mild detergent and soap. Therefore, I cannot recommend this product, and would advise against purchasing it, despite its low price.
