Memorization Study Bible, The

I love that it is the whole New Testament, and you can choose which scriptures you want to start memorizing by the numbers in the margins that tell you how many words are in that verse.

I like to memorize Scripture and know the benefits of having the Word in my heart for immediate recall. However, I nearly burned out using the card method and cramming new verses into my brain. I was ready for a change!I ran across a YouTube video of a conference Tom Meyer presented in Kentucky this summer and just KNEW I had to try his method. It's like having a Bible memory revival! He is a very encouraging teacher. Several of his students at the college where he teaches recited their memorized chapters for his Facebook. That was awesome!The print is not huge (the Bible would be huge if it were!), but the formatting is what matters in this New Testament. Since I have vision troubles right now, I simply hand-copy one verse at a time, with the line count, in larger print and then copy from my copy to learn it. I use the book itself as a progress record by shading the verses I'm learning with soft colored pencils. I've had this Bible three days, and I'm working on my third verse. So far, so good. Two simple changes in method have made a huge difference!

This is the ONLY Bible I have ever seen that is formatted with the specific purposes of helping believers memorize Scripture. Highly recommended.

Like the other reviewer who purchased the Kindle version I noticed the typos in the first intro sections.The Bible text itself appears to be formatted correctly (the portions I was working in) The text is lined up in a way that really helps to memorize the scriptures.

This Bible has been a tremendous help to my son in memorizing the passages assigned in his homeschool curriculum. He has always found verse memory difficult but with this he has memorized his verses in a fraction of the time it used to take! I wish the author had other translations available... Also note that this is only the NT.

I have never written a review for a product (I don't think) but wanted to recommend this Bible...I was a bit skeptical ..wondering if it really was going to be worth trying...I have SO many Bibles...but I absolutely lovethe method that is taught and it has been very helpful to me as I am learning scripture more easily.The waY the Bible is formatted is key and I truly hope that they do one for the Old Testament as well....I certainly would buy it....Highly recommend...

Basically your everyday Bible with a few pages of memorization things thrown in. Better just use your own Bible and just copy verses to memorize.

I really like the method for memorizing. It’s not necessary to buy the book (if you understand the author’s method). I am glad I did purchase it though. He has blocked out the King James new testament so you can easily write the lines on an index card. His technique is very effective

Unfortunately the book is not adapted fpr the kindle reade: The fonts and illustratoons are way too small and cannot be increaded
