Emergency Solar Crank Radio AM/FM/NOAA Weather Radio with Flashlight,2000mAh Power Bank,SOS Alarm, Reading Lamp,Phone Charger for Tornadoes Hurricanes,and Storms

I bought this for emergency kit with power options of AAA battery, Hand Crank, USB & Solar Charge. Cute little unit with touchy radio signal BUT the radio DOES NOT work with battery. I switched to battery and no light (no power)and the radio won't work. Only the Flash light works. Geez! So, do I have a broken unit? Anyone else? Radio works fine with USB charge. Have to try solar charge and hand crank next. Why do so many of these emergency unit fail? I had to throw out 3 others (would not hold solar charges). I test them yearly. So far I can't find one that truly works in case of a major emergency and I really need it. Will continue to test and may return.

Wow! This thing is fantastic!We recently used this with Hurricane Dorian coming through and then taking out the power.The reception and sound were great. The size is compact. And we loved that there are a whopping 4 ways to charge. Hand crank, battery, solar, and plug in.Extremely happy with this purchase, so much so that we have considered gifting these radios to others who live in hurricane prone areas.

I love this product. Our home was hit by a tornado on easter Sunday and we had no power prior to, which means no television or radio. This radio has almost everything one needs in that situation such as am/fm radio, light, SOS siren and even a phone charger, plus other handy features. I like the fact it runs off either liion or AAA batteries, or solar OR hand crank so even if it sits in the dark for a long time and cannot power via solar, or if the batteries are dead, the hand crank can still power it. If your cell phone dies and you need to charge it with this you can, which could save your life if you need to call 911 but have a dead phone battery. Anyone living in tornado alley needs at least one of these. It could save your life.

This arrived very fast without defects or damage. I gave this as a gift to someone for them use in their car, and to use for areas that are prone to heavy weather events where a device like this would be great to have on hand. Its a nice compact size, and light weight. I love the bright colors ( which is attractive as well as) makes this easy to find if its packed way or stowed in your car. All the features where in working order and the radio worked well too (and was on average with sound quality). Most of all I love the solar feature and hand crank...you cant beat it. *It also came with a separate cute little key chain flashlight as well*. This makes for a VERY thoughtful and practical gift , especially at this price point. Or even something essential to invest in for yourself and or family. So far so good!!! 4 stars for this one, since I can not comment on how it will hold up yet over time and use.
