With 2 dogs and a lot of hardwood and stone, I decided to go all in an buy about 10 in total of different sizes. This decision from an existing safavieh 9x12 my mom gave me. Love it so why not.These (this “line”) is plush and true. Deep deep maroon with to-be-expected shedding. For the first week, I got a canister out of each rug. “Grooming” is indeed a rug/personal preference so your experience may be different. These are super thick and do not bend to foot traffic. So thick you could stub your toe...if that helps.Being a single guy I can try to tie things together but try often leads to terrible. These rugs are a homerun can’t miss. They blend so many colors that even if you aren’t focusing on the deep maroon, you have blues yellows...it works.With 2 German Shepherds so far these are holding up as I layed them down. Perfect. I did use gorilla padding on my hardwood (half the size of the carpet) and spotty double sided tape for my stone etc. It’s not really necessary and you can definitely wait to see where you need them.These things are HEAVY and wrapped in the thickest plastic available. Have heavy shears ready. Heavy. Plan on half hour per rug. Seriously. Unwrap, lay, vacuum. Admire.You won’t be disappointed. I’d like to say I promise but just watch ...you’ll be writing the next review :)**FYI- no, I personally didn’t get a rug sample. I just decided to jump in and order a lot of $ in rugs however if you have the time and patience there is an option (not on your phone) to order color samples for free.

The rug just arrived so these are my first impressions. Should I discover any reason to add anything later on I will edit this review.The rug is exactly as pictured and actually much better quality than I expected for a rug of this price. The colors are vibrant and the pattern is sharp. The rug is thick and heavy and seems like it will stay in place on our tile floor without the need of a non-skid pad.There is no odor. Since it’s wool I expect it may shed for a bit but there is no evidence of that immediately. Even if it does, that alone won’t be enough reason for downgrading my review.All in all, I could not be happier and I highly recommend this product. And, no, I did not receive a discount or any other consideration for this review.

What a disappointment. They look Nothing like the photos. Colors are dull and dirty looking, and the patterns are terrible. They don't look professionally made at all. The tags match what I ordered so they didn't send the wrong ones but it looks like they could care less about the colors and patterns matching whats advertised.Edited to add photos. In the split photo you can see what's advertised in the upper left, compared to what I received. The last photo is the 3x5 and it's not as bad but still way off.

On the positive side, the rug is beautiful and we loved it for the first couple of months. Unfortunately, within a short period of time we noticed that our new rug was losing rug fibers. At first we just thought it was normal shedding of a new rug, but soon it became apparent that one area of the rug had failed and the threads were pulling out of that area leaving a hole that was growing.First, we contacted the seller and got a generic response saying it had been more than 30 days and the rug was not returnable. Then Amazon's Customer Service contacted the seller and got the same response. I explained that we did not want to return the rug because we changed our mind. Rather, the rug was defective. When you spend several hundred dollars on a wool rug you expect it to last more than a couple of months. It is unbelievable to me that this seller will not stand behind this defective product.Amazon Customer Service has not been helpful in this matter either. They have said that there is nothing they can do because this was a third party seller. That is ridiculous. I purchased this rug by going to Amazon.com. Amazon chooses who they feature as seller and they make money from those sales. For Amazon to take the position that this is not their problem is outrageous. I have elevated this matter up the chain at Amazon so we will see if they come through with a solution but at the moment it is unresolved.This is the first time I have ever written a review but I thought my story needed to be told.

When we received and installed this rug in our family room, I was in love! The color is beautiful, looks great in the room and large enough (harder to find than you would imagine). Unfortunately, being wool, it sheds worse than any dog we've ever owned and we've owned some long haired shedding dogs! AND the Roomba vacuum will not go over the lip of the rug. If it happens to make it over the lip of the rug, it leaves the shedding pieces all over the rug and other areas of the house in its wake when it leaves the room. So sad since I love the colors in this rug and how it looks. I'm not lazy and can vacuum the carpet the old fashioned way pushing around my regular vacuum, but all the shedding fills the bin up so quickly I have to empty it twice when vacuuming the rug AND it still leaves the shedded remnants in its wake. I spent so much on this and it would be such a pain to return, we'll keep it. We've only had the rug about 2 months, so I'm hoping that maybe the shedding will be less and less over time. 🤞

This 9x12 gorgeous area rug more than met my expectations!! We are in the middle of moving and Amazon got it to us in 24 hours! This is the actual rug in our new dining room. Also bought a 4x6 exactly like it for the front door foyer. Where the rug is dark, it’s navy blue. I knew that from reading other reviews and it’s what I wanted! Super love it!!!!!

I was a bit afraid to buy such a large area rug online. What if I don’t like it? What if I have to return it, it weighs 64 pounds, I would never be able to do that. I researched rugs for over a month and I finally chose this one based on the fact that I liked the look of it but also because the reviews were so good. Keep in mind that the white areas that you see in the picture are more of a beige, the red is the colour of wine, and the blue is a dark navy. Another very surprising treat was the fact that it didn’t have any odor to it. It’s thick enough that it’s soft on the feet. I highly recommend...for the money, it’s as close to Persian style as it gets.

I bought this pattern in two sizes. Both rugs are plush and soft on the feet. They match each other perfectly. I like them a lot for what they are, but as others have commented, the pattern is not as clear as it might be in a more expensive rug. Part of that is just because of the height of the pile, these are a generous half-inch thick, so that inevitably will 'blur' the pattern somewhat. One thing to note is that the photos are slightly misleading, because the colors in person have less contrast. The blue is very dark navy. The red is a dark wine color. The lightest color is a dark tan, sort of camel color, not a lighter cream as it appears online. I still like the rugs a lot, they are just an overall darker shade than the photos appear in the advert.

This rug is plush and the colour is exactly as described. I bought a smaller one to try it out and will now be buying a much larger one

Se ve muy bien. Recién llevamos 1 mes con ella, pero no le ha salido pelusa y los colores son vivos, se ven firmes. Sólo la hemos limpiado con aspiradora, no la barremos.
