This is a nice piece of hardware. I think it's a little overpriced at $20, but it is comfortable and well made. The only upgrade for me would be if the camera could still sit flat on it's base. I often have the camera sitting on something like a desk, and adding something like this is asking for the camera to slide and fall.The thumbscrew portion is easy to use, and it does swivel nicely.

They nailed it. I have been looking at various solutions for my Sony RX100 IV. I really like the 'gun shot' concept and looked at everything available from cases to straps to connection systems. I prefer to wear my cameras cross body style and have used the single connection tripod slings like Gariz and Black Rapid, but I have never been crazy about them. What is unique to this design is the full swivel so that 1. the straps don't get twisted and 2. it can't unscrew itself. And I can use a regular strap. Anyone pursuing quick shot solutions will love this. It is very well made, and personally, I would prefer to pay what might appear to be a high cost, but in reality is justified. If you are someone who appreciates things that are well executed in both design and manufacture, this is the option you have been looking for. They make a larger one for mirrorless and DSLR cameras, as well as a unique strap system. I will buy their strap system when they come out with a 'mini' or 'lite' version, suitable for smaller cameras.Note: the one thing I would like to see added is either a version with a longer screw or thinner washers included. I am using it through the bracket on a neoprene burrito roll case I bought years ago so I have had change the thick rubber washer to a thinner one.

Solid build quality and works exactly as advertised. I really appreciated how smoothly it rotated and the rubber washer ensures it stays put. It definitely felt secure when screwed into the bottom of my mirrorless camera.Note: One thing I didn't think about was how far out this things sticks from the bottom. It essentially makes laying the camera on a flat surface impossible. Definitely something to think about if you shoot like that.

The provided attachment mount on most straps and hand grips blocks access to the battery / card door on the bottom many cameras, including my Olympus Pen-F. The C-Loop Mini transformed a less-than-comfortable Grip Strap into a much more comfortable and secure grip for my Olympus Pen-F and full size Nikon. I use the Olympus 40-150 Pro lens on the small, 4/3 Pen-F, and have used it on weeks-long photo safaris in Africa. The C-Loop allows the use of a strap grip without blocking the camera's bottom door, and the pivoting strap mount makes the grip more comfortable. All without marring the camera finish. A good product, secure, well made, and worth the price.

Can't believe the material is plastic. For the price, it should be machined out of metal. Long term durability and robustness is questionable for me. Apart from that, the product is well designed and it does serve its primary goal of attaching straps by the tripod socket. I returned the product due to material construction.

I was a Kickstarter backer of the original C-Loop way back when, and since then that product has become an indispensable part of my Canon 7D camera kit. When I was purchasing a Canon SL1 as a secondary camera, I bought this mini-camera strap mount when I bought the camera because I can't imagine using an SLR camera strap without this. One of the few kickstarter products that I can't imagine not having.

If you put your camera in a cage, often you take off the straps to make connecting mics and other bits easier. The logic being, if the camera is being used as a video platform, you won't use it anywhere else and don't need straps. The problem is that sometimes you just want to walk around with the camera. With cage, and all the different mounting points, using the C-Loop enables you to take it off the cage/camera at a moments notice. You can then move the strap around to different mounting points and retain the best of both worlds. With the black anodized C-Loop Mini, it looks great with all my Smallrig cages.

I was skeptical about this, but I am pleased with it. My OM-D E-M5II has strap lugs in an uncomfortable place, and the c-loop mini seems to solve the problem reliably. To back it up I did make a safety tether with some para-cord and bowline knots.
