Burrata alla Panna - 8 oz

SO, so delicious. Way too expensive but it is coming clear across the country from California to Florida. The ice packs did NOT to their job and the cheese was practically melted. However, I popped it in the fridge and it hardened right up. It did not affect the creaminess at all. I however could not afford to buy this again.

Exactly like the Burrata I had in Italy last fall...comes in great shape! stayed fresh for daysI will order this again...

Unfortunately, this cheese was very bitter. I have no idea why the flavor was so bad, but I have had burrata many times before and it has never been bitter before. I will not be buying this product again and have asked Amazon for a refund. I literally tried one bite and could not eat another.

This cheese was EXACTLY what I hoped it would be! I had burrata cheese for the first time in a local restaurant and immediately went in search of it online. This was so creamy and the perfect texture. I would definitely order it again!

The cheese arrived packaged as advertised. I held a dinner party for six with a main course of Pappardelle with Meat Ragu and Burrata. I cut two packages of the chilled cheese in fourths according the the receipt, and served each piece atop each serving of Pappardelle and Meat Ragu. The consensus of all in attendance was: the cheese has a bitter flavor. No person at my dinner party liked the cheese and the flavor soon became a topic of dinner conversation. I am well-traveled throughout Italy, north and south; and to my recollection this cheese was not served with any meal I had, including meals in Florence and Rome.

This is the only burrata I have found in the US that can compare to the burrata I had in Italy. It is well worth the price and is truly delightful!
