HD 1280x720p Reversing Camera Integrated in Trunk Handle Rear View Backup Camera for 3er F30 5er F10 F11 X3 F25 320Li/530i/328i/535Li/520Li 2012-2015

Easy to install but a bit harder to figure out wiring it up. Schematics sent with the product weren’t up to date and didn’t match up with the replacement head unit I installed at the same time. Had to trust my own judgment which thankfully was correct. Installed on a 2015 BMW 3 series (F30) using NBT head unit upgraded with an Apple CarPlay MMI.

picture quality has a haziness to it. wanted to know if there is any way to fix this. I have a 13 f30 328i manual if that matters

Installed it on my wife's BMW X3, fit like a glove worked with no issues this is a good product probably little overpriced and that could be because it is over engineered. The engineers added a switch to allow controlling the backup markers to be controlled via a switch, however the switch did not work, so although I do not need the stupid lines I can not turn it off, it could be defective but removal and replacement for a busy dude like me would be more trouble than it's worth, thus the 4 stars instead of five.

I installed this backup camera with the Road Top carplay unit for my F30 335i and it works perfectly. The "trigger" wires were unnecessary for me since I have the auto trans, but the wiring was fairly straightforward. I tapped into the fuse box in the trunk (next to combox) for power and ran the video cable to the front of the car to connect to the carplay unit.Picture quality is very clear and I left only the static red, yellow, green lines on. Don't need the dynamic turning lines personally. Angle was fine for me.The handle itself was a perfect fit as a replacement to the old version and everything clicked into place without issues.

I was sure that this is not only a rear vision camera, and there is a button to open the trunk, as it should be in a car. but this button is not there. and it doesn't suit me

Installation was pretty straightforward. The car's original microswitch and carrier snapped right into place. I routed +12v from the Road Top unit through the extra trigger wire on the video run, and grounded at the body just above the battery. Picture quality is great, worked first time, no issues.

Great product but I advise you to be careful when installing it. The wiring is not a simple plug and play the way it may seem. There are a different set of wires when it comes to the install. I started having to splice wires together to from different locations to get a good image but once done it looks really good and perfect. My old image was foggy from a bad camera lens. Now it's crystal clear

The video is crisp! No issues installing. I installed it myself with no issues using YouTube. I highly suggest hiring a professional if you don't know what you're doing. 🙂👍
