I gave 4 stars because of the color. I ordered the pink, hoping it would be a nice soft, light pink. It is not. The color is pretty, but it is more of a peach color, not pink. This is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. I have no need for a peach colored hat, so I will be returning it.I have several hats from this vendor and they are great. They fit well, they are comfortable and they look pretty. I was originally unhappy with the fold marks but, after trial and error, I was able to figure out how to get rid of them.First, here are the tries that did not work:1) Moisten the hat and leave it lying flat in the hot south Texas sun. It didn't work. I tried misting it with water to fully soaking it .... nope, didn't work.2) I tried pressing it between two flat surfaces ... nope3) I tried steaming it with a clothes steamer .... nope4) I tried using my clothes iron ... 1) medium heat with misting the hat and using towels below and above (to protect the hat as much as possible) 2) wet towel below and dry on top ... then increasing the heat 3) wet towel on top ... making the iron hotter ...None of these techniques worked.What finally worked: Iron on cotton to linen setting (the hottest it can go) and ironing the hat directly. I first tried spraying it with a water mist, but that is not necessary. I just used the hottest steam setting possible (keeping the iron reservoir full) on a dry hat .... YIPPEE!!!! It worked! The hat did not melt and I got no residue on the iron. Bye Bye fold marks ... by ironing very carefully, I was able to get rid of most of the fold marks on the crown of the hat, tooIf you want to shape the hat a bit, you can do that with the iron, too. Just remember to let the hat cool in the shape you want (for example, to drape over an eye or curve down in the back, to protect your neck from the sun, or both).

Attended 50th wedding anniversary; I was original maid of honorand wore a hat like ths is. What great nostalgia of 50 years ago. My sister loved the dressing the same as 50 years ago. Perfect fit, fold creases disapoeared after "breathing" for a few days. Looks great, Feels even better.

My girlfriend loves the hat and wants me to buy more and I definitely will!!

It is a little heavy and floppy for use at a wedding. Will work on the beach

It fits really good and didn't look weird when it came in. It held well in the wind. It has that floppy look I was looking for. Overall I am very happy with it!

It fits but steaming after folding will help put hat back into shape. Trying my steam iron to put it into shape before wearing.

I absolutely love this hat! It is just the right amount of extra in the most perfect and fun way. The color is SO pretty in person and is exactly as soon in the photos. This hat also fits well - be sure to read the size guide carefully don't just guess. And, it protects my head, face from the sun as well as most of my neck/decollete while outside when I angle the brim downwards - *while* also being breathable!! This is a huge factor for me, my head/face sweats so much and I didn't want a hat that made it worse. This hat does the opposite and actually keeps me much cooler! I wear this hat nearly daily, on walks and in the garden. When I'm not wearing this one, I am wearing a more "tame" tan with black sash one with a smaller brim by the same brand. I am a repeat customer now.I fully encourage anyone interested to go ahead and get it! It arrived fast via Prime and was not folded in half or heavily wrinkled!!! It also comes with a detachable chin strap but I don't use that.The two reasons for it being 4.5 and not 5 are:1) I really wish the adjustable strap inside the hat was elastic OR had a grip to help hold the adjusting. Instead it has a thin ribbon, so while you can absolutely adjust it just so it requires that you adjust it while wearing it and then hold the ribbon in place while you take the hat off so that you can tie the ribbon. Seems like a small thing but it's annoying and takes a few tries to get it just right. This also means that there is zero give to the fit once you tie the ribbon, say if you want to pull the hat down further or forward/backwards you feel a constriction of the ribbon where if it were elastic it wouldn't be an issue.2) the pink hat, can't speak for the other colors, sparkles in sun light. 🙈😆 Like seriously sparkles and sends off little prisms of light. 100% was not expecting that and it caused a good bit of laughter at myself when I realized it. Still love the hat, that added layer of extra just took me a bit to feel comfortable with.

Disappointed and stuck with it. The hat is way too big for my head and it’s stuckIn the bent and folded shape from shipping. I wanted to send it back but they don’t take returns . Buyer beware

Llegó a tiempo. Me gusta como se me ve. Es muy lindo. Me cubre perfectamente el rostro. Fácil de guardar ya que se puede doblar sin problema. Muy bien.

The material thin, cheap, and shoddy and the hat also looks cheap and shoddy. It won't last even a season.If return it for a refund but apparently it's not eligible because it's a third-party seller.Save your money.
