Been using Blue Magic for years and works as it should.

Finding waterbed supplies anywhere but online is impossible now-a-days & it's necessary to keep a waterbed in good condition if it's to last.A waterbed can keep you cool in the summer & warm in the winter w/o central ac/heat. And if you live in FL, like I do, it's also great when elec'y goes out in a storm.

If you have a waterbed, then you need a waterbed conditioner to condition the inside of your water mattress to prevent algae build up and to keep the vinyl supple from drying out. Use every 6 -12 months or more depending on the amount of water you have in your size mattress. I found out there is a difference.

I put it in the bed. It stayed in there. I guess that means it didn’t eat a hole in the mattress, so that’s a good thing.

I didn't use my latest purchase as I ended up getting a new non-water mattress, but it will do the trick if you have a waterbed. I wish I had waited to purchase until I needed, but I always liked to have a bottle on hand when I needed it. Too late to return unfortunately.

Blue Magic seems to have been around a very long time. I think I started using it in the 1970's. The bottle has changed over the years as it used to be transparent. But it appears to the be same product. It is the probably the most widely used product of its type. I have used it successfully for decades and will continue to use it every 6 to 8 months. It keeps down the odor and bacteria that forms in stagnant water. It is a good product.
