TALON GRIPS 205-Parent (Small Backstrap, Rubber-Black)

I bought the rubber grips to cover the XMD hard factory grips and I am extremely pleased with the results. The factory grips were difficult to hold and not very user friendly. With the Talon grips my grip in drastically improved. To install the grips is very simple. You clean the existing grip with some rubbing alcohol to remove any oils or grease. You peal off the backing on the Talon grip and apply it to the pistol. I recommend lining up the XDm Icons which are cutout on both sides of the grip and alight them emblems on the existing grips. If you have these two aligned the rest of the grip should just fit into place.

Really liked the grip, helps to keep control of your firearm.

The grip is great. I was able to apply it to an exact fit. My only gripe is that around the thumb area I got a blister after an extended time at the range. I work in industrial maintenance and don't have the softest hands. So other than that part of the grip area this grip tape is great.

I thought these were not going to work at first. But paying for returning a 17 dollar product was not really an option. So I cleaned my XDm 9mm pistol with some alcohol and went for it... It went on pretty good. I had to trimmed about a 1/4 inch of excess material as it wrapped around the fore strap. A little work with a heat gun to push some of the wrap into the grooves and I was done. BTW that is a Fast Draw USA holster available at Amazon. Best 30 bucks I have spent in a while.

First i have to say the install was perfect. It is an amazing fit. I bought the rubber grips to get a better grip in my hands. The issue i have is the talons made my grip extremely slippery. When my hands are perfectly dry i have a good handle of the weapon. But just a little hand sweat (I do not sweat alot) causes the XDM to slip around in my hand. I'm going to switch over to the granulated version in hopes i get better results.Others who held my XDM mentioned my concern without me bringing up the issue.

I ordered this for a Springfield XDM-Elite 9mm 3.8 with full-size grip. With very minor trimming around the mag well the talon grip fits great, feels good, and adds the right amount of rubber grip texture to the already comfortable grip.

I had to cut mine to fit it and it will probably peel off. Where you have to tuck it in it right on the tips of my fingers and annoying the rubber seems slippery with sweaty hands. Just going to get a sheet of 5 dollar grip tape next time

I LOVE my XDM, but did not love the grip - I have skinny, not 'meaty' hands, and the grip on the XDM seems slippery to me.... These took care of that problem.Not for concealed carry, as they are pretty sticky, but really nice for the range. They do fine in extreme cold - not sure how they will be in the heat, the sandpaper texture kind may be better for a hot sticky climate.These fit perfectly after cutting for the grip size - the XD logo and factory grip ridges all lined up perfectly as well - looks professional after installed.
