Great additive for bad soil
I was entertaining the idea of buying 6 yards of compost for my backyard for an upcoming renovation but opted to use the humic as a soil conditioner instead and essentially compost my existing soil. I put 100lbs down a couple of months ago, and combined with the leaves falling (that I then mulched up) my dirt is as black as the stuff from the store. This literally saved my life as the alternative would have been shoveling around 12000 lbs of dirt with my bare hands. I'm excited to get the seed down this coming spring.

natural and effective
Easy to use and helpful when you live on a sand dune and would like to improve your 'soil' (using the term loosely). We have been attempting to produce a lawn for years, and this, along with stone dust, has helped to build the root systems of the grass.

Great stuff. Good price.
My plants and trees seem to love this stuff. They are growing and blossoming like crazy and the fruit is setting well (not falling off). I'll keep using this combined with the liquid kelp.

Five Stars
Helps add acidity to my soil since Lenardite breaks down slowly and lasts more than a single season.

False advertising!!
Inacurate description...! It says in there description that HUMIC ACID is 70% of the active ingredient, as listed above. But on the bag, it is only listed as 50% humic acid and 50% inert ingredients. Won't be buying again..

Busted open and leaking
Bag and box were busted open! Hard to say how much of the grains leaked out.

Light bags, powdery.
Bag felt light to me and sure enough when I weighed it was 42lbs total. 8+ lbs. short. Also was very powdery and Not granular. Did not spread well and I probably should have dissolved into solution and sprayed. Net result was I noticed zero effect on my lawn from this product. Instead I would recommend local compost topcoating. This is always effective for me.

Not worth the price!
Granular Humic by any company including DTE goes for about $1 dollar a pound.
