Just what I wanted, a larger frame so you can actually see the picture. But out of the box I noticed a tin-y sound and noticed how frail the chain is, and the bale that holds the locket on the chain. It feels like it could easily break off.Too, it is very difficult to open & close! I'll be replacing the chain and hoping the jeweler can adjust the opening for an awesome locket.

The clasp to close the locket is very delicate and broke on the first day. Now the locket doesn't close at all

I love the size of this locket and the ease of putting pictures into it. I can't really say I care much for the design stamped on it but that is a personal taste. It is very lightweight but this wasn't all that expensive. I would love to see this same locket with a bit more weight (even at a higher cost) and additional design stamps,

I couldn't be happier with this locket. The Made in the USA quality is evident in the engraving on the front, the quality of the hinge and hidden locking mechanism. You don't have to worry about this popping open. I did find it a little difficult to open and close the first couple of times but now that it's "broken in," it works perfectly. The rhodium plating gives is a beautiful luster and should help prevent tarnishing for a long time. The locket is lighter than expected but that doesn't detract from the quality of the piece. The chain that accompanied it was a very pleasant surprise and is now my favorite silver chain. It will get a lot of use with my other pendants. Without the bezel, this measures a nice 1.5"L x 1"W. It's the perfect size for a photo of my husband and my dog...not sure what order yet. :)

This locket is a wonderful product, heavy, with lovely engraving; a real piece to wear each day & she does. When she opened the present she as "over the moon" with excitement & happiness & said, I always wanted one when I was a little girl. I like the quality so much that I am thinking of purchasing another for a friend.This piece of jewelry is a win-win! I had found a similar one in a local jewelry shop for 3 times the price & the sales person wasn't at all friendly. That is why I enjoy shopping with Amazon & other like facilities--

This Locket turned out to be much larger that I had expected as you can see by the picture of it beside a standard size locket.But that was great as I had bought it to hold a picture of my recently passed fiance.I not only got a wonderful picture of him in it but also managed to get a beautiful picture of the two of us in as well..The sterling silver still looks great even when I wear it everyday and have for 9 months now.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is not sterling silver. It is cheap rhodium plated copper. Furthermore it came with two tags. One staying made in the USA...the other China....oeigin unknown. Do not buy. Waste of money.

The locket is extremely beautiful and would make a lovely gift. Just the right size for my liking. Design is lovely-not too overdone. Exquisite! Decided to keep it for myself. Lots of room for photos and has a brilliant shine. Definitely recommend!
