Relief!
Work as described, WAH comfort means everything, previously I was experiencing wrist pain, I had tried a brace and cool compresses. However, I was suggested to purchase a vertical mouse and I must admit it has been the best solution. I no longer have the wrist pain and can work daily without feeling like my wrist is gonna fall off. My hand is small so I was concerned maybe this wouldn’t work, but the comfort, fit and smoothness of the design is perfect. I typically charge it on Friday after work that way when Monday comes it’s good to go. I’ve had it since November and it’s been good.

A well-priced revelation!
I just recently discovered vertical mice. I tried a couple different ones at this price range and this one was my favorite. If you've never used a vertical mouse, I do find it to be a more comfortable angle on my wrist. I didn't have much of any trouble adjusted for regular use, it may need slightly more adjustment to get used to it for FPS gaming. What I discovered to be crucial in a vertical mouse (to me) is how easy it is to click the middle mouse button (Scroll wheel). Since you aren't applying downward pressure anymore, if the click is too stiff it is very uncomfortable. Noticed this issue with other mice, but not this one. The click is easy and comfortable for me.The forward and back buttons I found to be well-designed, the forward-arrow indentation helps me easily distinguish which one I'm pressing easily without need to look and check.DPI has two settings, which may be a downside for some, but I don't regularly change my DPI so those were perfectly fine with me.I will also add, because I found this issue with others, is that this one travels smoothly on your mouse pad. I tried different (wireless) mouse that was catching on the pad and did not travel smoothly (I think it was the power switch). The only thing that I don't love about this mouse is that it lacks silent clicks. It is a feature I discovered I liked on other mice. This one is a traditional sounding click. But overall I would say this mouse is nearly impossible to beat at its price. I liked mine so much I bought a second so I have one at home and one at work.

If you dont use verticle mice regularly.
If you don't use vertical mice regularly its something to get use to but i since i have bigger hands its something to get adjusted too but overall i like this mouse better than your standard mouse its more comfortable especially if you have a nice thick mouse pad that is made to help relieve pain in the wrist and tunnel in general the clicks are fairly quiet and overall the mouse responds well. though the clicks of the mouse are not quite as tactile as other clickier mice its a good mouse i haven't had any problems yet

5 years on, I am still very impressed...great $12 vertical mouse
The Perixx company continues to impress me.Decided to give a try to these upright/vertical/handshake grip style mice. Got this one for $11.99 Prime.First off, this review is for the WIRED version (which is clearly stated in the title, but looking at the reviews, some people didn't notice).it illuminates! which came as a surprise. the bar on the thumb portion glows a very awesome blue, which is EXACTLY the same color as my Perixx wired keyboard (a hidden bonus). Had seen some pictures of this mouse (which is very similar if not identical to the Anker version here: Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse, 800 / 1200 /1600DPI, 5 Buttons - Black and the Sharkk version here: SHARKK Vertical Mouse Ergonomic High Precision Optical Mice Super Comfortable Wired Mouse) online where someone used MS Paint to draw a blue line where the unit glows. i can confirm it glows all by itself.Have only used it for an hour, and already i am very pleased with it. Mousing feels a bit awkward after 30 years using a typical mouse, but my wrist already feels more comfortable, and i'll get used to the new configuration sooner or later. The "High Quality Rubber Coating Surface" is odd in a good way. it looks like a matte plastic finish, but has more grip than plain plastic should have (if that makes sense). I guess it's to give people peace of mind that they won't lose their grip on the mouse, but as it is so lightweight, it's a non-issue for me, personally. It is not a thick layer, in any case. It has no extra give (like a neoprene sleeve would have). The cord is plain plastic. the cord for my Perixx keyboard (Perixx PX-2000, Programmable Backlit Gaming Keyboard - 6 Macro Keys with 3 User Profile - Blue Illuminated Backlit Keys - Gold-plated USB Connector - 6 Feet Braided Fiber Cable was braided, so i guess i was hoping this one would be too...but it did not specifically say it was. (and really, i wouldn't really expect a braided cord cover for the price i paid for this mouse.)I had never heard of Perixx before i bought my keyboard (August 2013, and still going strong), but i have had nothing but positive experiences with their products thus far.Would highly recommend this mouse specifically and Perixx products in general.Update: 5 years on, and the mouse is still going strong. The blue illluminated portion flickers now, when it is on--it isn't most of the time anymore--but the mouse is still perfectly functional. Very impressed.

Good mouse
This mouse is cool and it keeps my hands and wrists from hurting while in use. Being able to use it with my hand and arm in a more natural position is a lot of relief. It;s easy to use and I've had no problems.

Long battery life
I bought this a few months ago. The packaging was kind of tore up and I thought it was a return or something. But I decided to give it a try anyways. So I charged it overnight and haven’t charged it since. I don’t know what kind of alien battery it has or what. But I use it daily and have not charged it since I bought it.
