Study mount, easy but time consuming installation - be prepared!
I am NOT the most handy person, but I'm also not the least. I'd say I'm a regular Joe. So I decided to forego my TV retailer's $100 installation and do it myself. I visited two different stores to examine and play with displays and read about 50 different reviews online for mounts, so I feel qualified for this write-up. I originally wanted a "full motion" mount that could extend and pivot sideways, but every review I read had bad comments about sagging/instability, so I stuck with the simple tilt. I had just bought a brand new Vizio flatscreen that I saved up MONTHS for and it was far from cheap, so more than anything I wanted a mount that protected my investment. And I got it. This thing is solid as a rock; I bet it could hold me (180 lbs) if I hung on it. Installation took longer than I wanted (about an hour), but only because it was my 1st ever TV mounting, I was nervous, and I had to make a couple trips to Home Depot down the block to get things I didn't realize I'd need. So, in that spirit, here is some advice/hints for you.1) FIND THE STUDS. If you don't know how, ask someone who does. I asked the guys at the Home Depot and they set me straight. My studs were 19" apart (regular is 16") because I mounted over a fireplace so they were irregular. You will 100% most definitely want to do this.2) - It comes with a level! When drilling into wood paneling like I was, you want to get it right the 1st time, because you can't just spackle and re-paint bare wood. You have to be 1 and done, and the built-in level was really helpful for this.3) - You need a power-drill, 3/16" bit, and a socket wrench. Drill is for pilot holes for the lag bolts, and socket wrench is to save you a lot of time and effort with the lag bolts. The lag bolts (bolts that go into the studs) are huge, and it takes some serious effort to get those puppies in - a good thing, but I did it with a small monkey-wrench and it was time consuming and tiring. When I go to remove, I will use a socket wrench.4) - It comes with a ton of hardware you won't use. But that's a good thing, too - different TVs take different hardware to mount, so they cover all their bases. Handy. Now my TV is up and looking great, and I have 0 concern about its sturdiness. Seriously, when installed correctly, this thing is no joke.Overall - extremely sturdy mount, but be prepared with everything you need before starting the install to save a lot of time.Hope this helps you, Amazonians!

Great Mount, Great Price
My wife and I had an older Visio ~40" (I haven't measured it exactly) TV that we wanted to mount in the guest room. While not extraordinarily large or heavy, the mounting holes on the back of the television are more than 20" apart. This posed a problem for most television mounts that are made for TVs under 55". This left me with some options: either buy an expensive mount designed for large television or put the TV in garage and let it sit there. While I was OK with the second option, the wife was not. So I had to find another option, because I wasn't going to splurge on the $100 dollar mount that would fit this TV at Costco. This was that other option.I'm really handy, and I have installed TV mounts before, so this was relatively easy to install. I think the two stud mounts are easier to mount than the single stud mounts. The only thing I would advise to do is not rely solely on the built-in level. It's close, but I'm glad I checked it with my own level. I think if it were my first one I ever installed, it may have taken twice the time?It feels really sturdy, and I like that there is not a whole lot to it. If I have another television I need to install I would consider buying this one again.

Minor flaws, but a good product
A good solid product that functions exactly as expected. The tilt is true and holds its position well. The mechanics work well when needed, and all the holes for mounting make it seamless. There are two reasons I did not give it five stars, both of which can be avoided if you read this review:1) There is a seam/weld spot/stamp imperfection directly on the middle top of the mount, which will throw your level off by a half inch (other reviewers were right that the built in level is garbage--but I didn't buy it for a working level, so who cares.). This means that you should level the mount from the bottom side when marking the wall and re-checking for level.2) There is no way to adjust the mount to level it once it is attached to the wall. As you can imagine, I was fairly mad when I figured out why I was off by a half inch. I solved the problem by putting a few little pieces of dense cardboard under one of the top mount hooks, which easily corrected the issue. This fix has held and is is perfectly safe because I screwed the hell out of the safety mount to make sure it isn't going anywhere. The mount could easily hold a much heavier tv.

100 lb TV, 26 inch centers, no sweat
Fits my PanasonicTH-50PZ700U (107 lbs, 26 inch width [660mm] on the TV 8mm mount bolt holes) nicely and has plenty of strength. I used four lag bolts (supplied) into studs and no worries about the thing falling down. I have 10 degrees of down-tilt without spacers, and I probably can get another 5 degrees if I wanted it (the back of the TV sticks out pretty far and will hit the wall without using spacers). Attachment screws provided are the right length for the TV. If you plan on using spacers, you may need longer bolts than supplied. Thumb screws lock in position nicely. Easy install, lots of bolt holes to pick from, thumb screws work well, 'hanging' the TV brackets onto the wall frame is simple (important when you are lifting the TV with brackets). If your TV is about 100 lbs and the mount bolt spacing is 26 inches, this mount will work for you.

Excellent mount. You don't need an expensive one when you have this.
Excellent heavy duty bracket. It was easy to install and very sturdy once installed. I have mounted a 50inch TV using this. Don't believe the level that comes with the package, it was way off compared to my Real level. The M8 screws which were included did not fit my tv. But it was not a big issue as I found the correct ones at home depot. Overall a good purchase. You don't have to spend much on tilting mounts when this is available.

MISSING PARTS
The bracket they have delivered is incomplete or not compatible with my SAMSUNG TV. It does not have the screws required at the back of my TV for mounting.I am not sure if this is really what it contains or delivery error, perhaps this bracket is not universal because it does not have the proper peripheral for SAMSUNG TV.Likewise, it was not properly packed when delivered, the box was totally battered and they did not tape it at all.
