SunChelles Women's UPF 50 Sun Protective Clothing, Slip on SPF 50 Sun Protection

So, I ordered this mostly to drive in. Actually, to ride in my husbands new car in. I'm forbidden from lotioning up in his new wheels, yet I have alabaster Irish skin & we live in the desert. Plus I drive a lot for work, so I thought this would save time. I LOVE THIS!!!! It's a little odd, the grippies on the palms & the silly red Shell on the hand that looks similar to the Shell Gas emblem. The gathers on the arms that make me feel a little bit like an albino lobster ... Kidding, kind of. The chest coverage is not as complete as it should be, but I double up with a stylish infinity scarf. This gets dirty easily (I ordered the white) & smells like sweat fast. Probably because it is wicking! But it cleans up well. A little geeky but cute so it works just perfectly for me :) it also keeps me really cool!!! I wonder if the black serves the same cooling purpose - I was thinking of getting the black next. I wear size S typically, or M in snug athletic gear. I ordered size S & it fits perfectly. It's roomy, so perfect for layering over a tank with room to move around. I highly recommend that you order this. It's totally functional & geeky-adorable.

I love the protection this shirt gives from the sun but it is cut weird through the raglan sleeves so it just isn't flattering. I love the ruffle at the bottom. It is almost perfect if the shoulders had been designed to fit like a regular blouse or jacket. I use it to mow and in a pinch in public but I am a little embarrassed to wear it out, It just doesn't fit or "hang" right no matter how I try to adjust it.

People can't believe this is UPF 50+ clothing--a plus for me, who has to wear UPF 50+ due to sun allergy. There are actually two ties, one up higher so that you can tie it and cover more of your chest. I do wish that the fabric was the same for the hands and not the changeover to the palm (more of a gripper fabric, kind of like that used on gardening gloves). Mostly because it isn't necessary (in my opinion), and the palm fabric catches dirt and requires me to wash the whole thing more frequently. But otherwise I get a lot of spontaneous complements and really enjoy having this as an alternative to wear out in the summer.

Well made. Looks and fits just like it is pictured. The one thing that detracted from the look, is putting their very obvious orange logo on the cuff. I managed to cover it up with a white applique. The logo totally took away from the dressy look of the garment. Otherwise you could wear this with a dress or jeans as an everyday cover up. I am very sun sensitive and need something year round. I'm hoping the density of the fabric doesn't make it too warm in summer. I will wear it while driving to protect my left arm from sun exposure.,

I was so happy to find this because I live in Florida and I was putting on sunscreen all the time, which I dislike because sometimes I have to run out and there's not enough time for it to take effect, and it's messy, and I don't know the effect of using all those chemicals. This shirt is perfect to throw on over my t-shirt when I walk the dog, or to put on in the car while I drive. I usually wear a medium but I got a large so it would be nice and roomy over another shirt, which it is. I'm thinking of buying a second one, one to keep in the car, one to keep in the house to walk the dog. It's not a shirt that I would wear for its looks, but it looks good enough for my needs.

So I'm a fair Irish lass who crisps in the sun in about 10 minutes, even with SPF 10000 on. Always looking for UPF clothing, but so much of it has that utilitarian hiker look. This cover up is definitely flirty. Ordered a large, but it was oversized and shapeless on my well-fed 5'4 160 lb frame. Medium seems just right. The ruffle hits mid-rib and turns under without added bulk if I want a cleaner look. Works with tees and tanks- stuff that doesn't compete with the neck ruffle. Color is true white (I might disappear!). Would love to have it in a tan or powder pink. Will update this review later when it's warm- hope this breathes!

This is a somewhat shapeless shirt, and the ties on the front bother me so much that I cut them off because I got tired of them dangling all over. But for the price and the usefulness, you can't beat this shirt. I wear it while driving to avoid the dreaded one arm tan.

It's cute and relatively fashionable. I like that it can also cover the hands. Wish that it weren't semi-see through though. Also it doesn't have much shape/form to it. But I admit it's still better looking than most other UPF clothing out there and the price is very reasonable.
