This is a great car. We bought it for our dog to chase and wear her out. It’s really fast and durable. Kids enjoy playing with it too. Great quality for the price. Love that it comes with two battery packs too.

We've been running this car nearly daily since it came in the mail and have been having a blast. My five-year-old has been able to master the control. The car has been driven down the steps (sometimes at full speed - oops!) numerous times and it doesn't seem to affect performance. Would not hestitate to purchase again!For the pricepoint, one has to expect a couple of drawbacks. For us, these have been the lightweight "cheap" feel of the plastic remote control and the length of life of the batteries that are included. We were getting 15-25 minutes of play time on a charge with those original batteries but updgrade to a 2200mAh and can now run it for an hour or so (hard to judge since it's stop and go).

First, AWESOME customer service from seller!! Had a small issue, the seller went above and beyond to resolve it! This RC unit is beyond fun! My 5 year loves it!! Only down side is the recharge battery pack wares down a bit quick but must be because the output is great!! Unit comes with two rechargeable battery packs so it is workable. Definitely would recommend this RC unit and seller for outstanding customer service!!

I bought this for my 6 year old. We received one that stopped working within 1 hour of play time (steering stopped working). SainSmart JR sent a free replacement very quickly, and we haven't had any issues since. The build quality and controls are for beginners - fast enough to be fun, not so fast that he can't control it. This is not "hobby-grade", but it is excellent value given the low price. Plus, the customer service was terrific.

Lasts 30 minutes but hauls butt till the very end. Does a 180 if you throw it in reverse. Crawls through tall grass and sand with ease. Easy to use and quick to charge .

This seemed like a good idea to kill the quarantine boredom. Item received and box looked like it was repackaged/returned. Didn’t mind too much, because car looked like it was in good condition. The quality was subpar, but hey what do you expect fort under $40. Hour 2 of using it, the battery fastening clips fell apart. The next day both rechargeable batteries wouldn’t hold charge for more than 5 minutes of use. After a week of occasional use the motor burst up in flames and my son almost burned his fingers. Should had returned the moment it arrived... Don’t waste your money on this. Hopefully Amazon will refund.

My 7th grade son is enjoying the car. Love that it comes with two batteries. We had a problem with the steering wheel in the remote and were able to get it replaced quickly by the support team at Sainsmart. They were amazing at troubleshooting and solving the issue.

Bought for my 5yr old as his 1st "real" RC car after his amphibious flippy-car-thing. This actually blows away any RadioShack car I got in the 80's. Pretty quick, comes with 2 batteries. Remote is def cheap as others have said but it works fine. The odd thing about it is that there's no proportional control. the Forward/reverse on the trigger & the wheel has hard switches, so it literally has 2 speeds & either the wheels are straight or lock2lock. Doesn't affect drivability for his money. Cool toy. Fair price.
