SATISFIED...A REALLY NICE GIFT
I ordered 2 of these to give as Christmas gifts. One person has not yet received it. My other recipient seemed quite taken with the idea of the ancient quality of amber. Amber often has a plastic feel, and I know there are all kinds of pro and con reviews as to the veracity of each amber item on Amazon. So this doesn't even enter into my review, though I did like the two little cards with amber information and authenticity guarantee. The clasp seemed OK, maybe even ingenious, but I advised the recipient to gently place the necklace over her head, to protect the amber/plastic screw clasp. That was the reason I ordered one of the longer sizes, and I think the 23.5" is adequate for this, though just barely. I liked the knotting between beads, but know that any breakage will mean restringing, much the same as with cultured pearls, probably not going to happen because of the comparative cost. Beads are never non-problematic gifts, but the mystique of Baltic amber and the rather well-matched shape/color of these beads make it a good buy. Reviewers of other amber products rated their therapeutic experience or lack thereof; that really wasn't my main concern in buying these as Christmas gifts. I guess in summary, I might use just one word: SATISFIED.

It is real amber!
At first I was worried this was not real amber. I watched several YouTube videos to see how test amber and I am happy to report it tested as real amber! I got it to hopefully help with neck pain and migraines. Hopefully it will help😉

Great necklace! Nicely made, but no help with my severe pain
The necklace itself is very well made. The knots between beads are nicely done and the amber beads are a beautiful deep maroon color with ever so slightly irregular shapes, which make it look more natural and less formal. The beads are genuine amber, as I can see holding them against a bright light. I’ve worn the necklace continuously day and night, taking it off only while showering for the past 4 months, and it has held up well. I’ve even showered with it in a few times just to rinse off the amber.While the necklace itself deserves 5 stars, I am only giving this a 3 star rating because I’ve experienced no pain relief whatsoever from wearing it. I suffer from severe arthritis and degenerative disc disease, as well as trigeminal neuralgia, peripheral neuralgia, radiculopathy and chronic daily migraine, so admittedly I’m a pretty tough case. I bought the necklace hoping it would reduce my pain, particularly my neck and head pain, but so far it has done nothing but make me look a lot cooler. Someone with more moderate pain looking for a natural solution might have better luck than I did. Worst case scenario, it might not help you, and you are left with a very lovely necklace. I’ll keep wearing mine just because I like how it looks.

The real thing!
Gorgeous color, the perfect length of just under 20 inches, it does look like plastic beads. However, don't be fooled by appearance. It IS authentic amber. I found the instructions to test:Salt Water testThe effective test for identifying real Natural Baltic Amber from fake is Salt Water test. In order to do this test, you will need about 7 teaspoons of salt and a medium size cup of water. Add all teaspoons of salt into the water and stir well until salt is fully melted. In the next step add your Amber gemstone Jewelry into this water. Real Amber should float in this water easily while majority of fakes will sink fast. Please note that plastic clasp will sink.Sure enough, I did as instructed, held my necklace by the plastic clasp and it floated! A quick rinse and back on my neck it went. SO pleased with it. I highly recommend the necklace and the company is legit!

Real Amber
I got this for my anxiety and I feel it really does help when I wear it. I tested to see if it was real amber (put a hot pin to one of the beads, looked for imperfections/bubbles/flecks) and had someone else look at it and it is real. It is incredible what homeopathic remedies there are out there that can help with many different ailments!!

Very nice!
Passed home tests for authenticity, with the exception of the smell test which apparently can be very hard to conduct on small beads of amber which are fully polished (such as these) as you'd basically have to rub off all the polish to get a good whiff of it. Feels nice to wear. Beautiful cherry color. Hoping it helps with my headaches and back pain lately...

NOT true to size!
This is supposed to be 21.5 inches. For reference, in the photo provided, my Kyanite necklace is 18 inches. The one under that is 22. These amber beads barely went over my head! They are beautiful, but sized much too small. :-(

Beware of "authenticity"
I bought this for my husband in hopes that it would help with his back pain. The "certificate" of authenticity (if you can call it that) that it came with was not a certificate at all but a "sample card" of what a real certificate would look like. It actually had SAMPLE written across the front of the card. I truly do not believe that this necklace is authentic raw Baltic Amber as it claims to be.
