Garden was going nuts and my strimmer just would not run. Cleaned the carb took out all the jets reset the needle valves - spent hours on it and nothing worked so was getting really hacked off! Last resort was to buy a new carb which I thought would be rather expensive for my Stihl FS55. I could not have been more wrong. Carb kit was amazing value and a direct replacement. I'm glad that it came with a new fuel coupling as the carb nozzles were smaller diameter so old fuel feed hoses from tank were too large. Replacement of fuel hoses was quick and easy as was the fitting of the carb. Ran first time but needed slight adjustment on idle jet and idle throttle screw. Now runs perfectly and I have begun to reclaim my garden. Wish I'd done this in the first place rather than wasting so much time and energy on cleaning up the old carb!

The carb took an hour to fit and started first time I only had to adjust the tick over screw to get it running correctly .When you consider what you get included it makes for extremely good value for money. The spark plug 2off spare priming bulbs and fuel filter would cost at least half of the total price in a garden equipment store.

Straightforward fitting, no adjustments required and is sold at a very fair price. Had to wait a while for delivery, but worth it in the long run.

Bought one of these carb kits for a Stihl FS 38 and it was a huge let down. Fitted the carb to the strimmer as I should have and it would not even prime any fuel. Considering it was a brand new carb it should have worked straight away! When I opened the carb up the cheap screws sheared when re tightening them which has now left this new carb worthless.

Brilliant for the price - fixed my strimmer a treat.

Disappointed to find that, despite carefully checking the model of my Stihl strimmer, this carburetor does not fit. It specifically says it will fir the FS 55R.

Prodo perfetto in tutto l'unica neo , è che quando sostituite il carburatore lasciate il tubicino verde che avete e non sostituitelo con quello "nuovo" che danno in questo kit perché il materiale è un po scadente e si rovina molto velocemente.

Livraison rapide, matériel impeccable , très complet , montage facile juste retaillé un plastic d 'une vis de réglage du carbu qui touchait sur le capot du filtre à air.Pas grave, redonné vie à mon rotofil STILH FS45 de 20 ans qui a évité la déchetterie.N'a jamais démarré du premier coup, mème neuf, et là :niquel, au quart de tour , fonctionne à merveille.Pour un prix dérisoire .BILAN PLUS QUE SATISFAISANT!!!!!!!!

Ich habe einen FS45 aus dem Jahr 2001. Der alte Vergaser hat nur 1 Stellschraube. Dieser Kit passt. Musste nur die Plastikführung der Hauptstellschraube etwas kürzen, da das Luftfiltergehäuse da anstand. Alle Teile aus dem Kit eingebaut und der FS läuft einwandfrei! Für den super Preis nur zu empfehlen!!! Das öffnen des Luftfilterdeckels ist jetzt nur noch mit etwas drücken mit dem Schraubendreher möglich, aber damit kann man leben. Die Grundeinstellung war i.O.

Ich habe dieses Set für meinen Mann bestellt und der ist sehr zufrieden. Funktioniert einwandfrei.
