I got this because the USB hub that I bought lasted a few months before it started to fall apart. So, far this is a solid hub with good connections that I don't see coming apart any time soon, if at all. I have a longer receiver for my Corsair headset that I wanted to get out of the way and this allowed me to do that while having the receiver in line with the hub. It may seem simple and you may not have this need, but it was important to me. Not 5-stars because it hasn't blown my mind and isn't necessarily exceptional, but it functions well for what it is.

It worked well the first few days, but when I went to go plug in both the wireless mouse and a flashdrive a notification popped up indicating a power surge. Basically, the device is not powerful enough to hold more than one drive at a time. I find this interesting, because it's made for that purpose. So, for it to not function correctly for the purpose it serves makes it a disappointing product to have.

I like having 4 ports and it gives me a place to connect all my devices at once without any issues.

This item is super durable and easy to use. I originally bought this item because my Lenovo Yoga computer only has one usb connection and I sometimes have multiple devices I would like to connect at the same time. It definetly works. I have been having for a couple of days now and havent had any issues.

I bought one now need another for my other laptop
