This large vinyl anti fatigue mat is a lifesaver. My kitchen floor is hard as a rock and cooking and cleanup was taking a toll on my hips, back and knee. This mat provides a superior surface that’s nonslip and also provides firm but excellent cushioning underfoot that eases the pressure on my back and joints. It makes the difference between being able to cook and clean up comfortably versus being in too much pain to do anything beyond basic kitchen tasks.This mat arrives with no odor and ships rolled but is heavy enough that it’s laid perfectly flat from the get go, and it doesn’t slip around on my hard flooring ever. I love the size of this mat. My kitchen is on the small side, so this mat covers my whole work area in front of my sink, oven, dishwasher and some cabinets and drawers I get into often. This mat isn’t fancy and has an industrial look, but it’s a neutral grey and I don’t mind the look at all for the comfort and function it provides.The mat is easy to clean and super durable. I bought the exact one about 5 years ago, and it never corroded or wore out. I retired it after leaking pipes made a big mess, and I couldn’t deal with the cleanup at the time. Plus, the leaking was shortly after I dropped a 450 degree pizza pan on the mat when the heat went right thru my silicone mitt, and it left a pan imprint. I knew it was time to replace it when I saw the identical mat on Amazon for a fraction of what I paid for my first one. This mat is a great value at about $40. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

i've been reading up on how people who sit all day tend to get problems with back & joints later in life and i wanted to see if i could do something about that now.I had my cube modified at work to allow for standing but still got a chair for rest points. I purchased this mat because of the area it covered & price. I worked for about a week without it (waiting on the shipping). I started to have my doubts about standing all day as my body was showing signs of fatigue. I've had this mat for two weeks now and clearly i have noticed a difference. I even like to take off my shoes and just stand on the mat.I can see my foot impressions and i'm able to tell that i'm not going all the way to the bottom of the mat (i weight 200lbs @ 5'6") which makes me feel that i'm suspended by this layer of sponge and not resting my feet directly on the hard floor.I'm no doctor so i can't quote anything scientific about it, all i can say is that it feels good and though there might be ones better, this one is a definite try if you are looking to try and change up your work habits.side note - dont get confused with the idea of standing all day vs sitting. Standing all day without proper ergonomics can also be damaging to your body. From what i gathered, a good balance of good sitting & standing posture throughout the day is most beneficial to your body. .

When I received this mat, I was disappointed because I thought it would have more cushion to it. However, after standing on it for 6 hours preparing Thanksgiving dinner, I am very happy with it. My back usually aches after just a short time standing on the bare floor, but with this mat my back was pain free. It is also very easy to wipe down, and the price is hard to beat.

The size and, by comparison, the price point seems good. The color is kinda blah but it works for me. As for durability, we'll see...so far so good though; just let it air/ stretch-out a bit though.

Works and looks nice in front of my kitchen sink. It's definitely easier on the feet while standing a long time and doing dishes. I'm happy with my purchase.

This works well in my business to protect the carpet behind the counter and provide a little more cushion for the employees. We also use stools on top of these mats. I was afraid that they might damage them, but although they leave marks at first, once they are removed, the material seems to go back to normal. Neutral color is nice as well.

I've got a stand up desk at work and this has done the trick to reduce fatigue. It's big so if you've got a decent size space then this works well. It's also very reasonably priced when compared to what I found at my local big box office supply store.

I have a stand-up desk configuration at my home office, where I spend 75% of my week. The mat has met and exceeded my expectations by reducing the fatigue in my legs and feet. I highly recommend this product for those in a similar situation.
