Advanced Business Chinese: Economy and Commerce in a Changing China and the Changing World

Not exactly as expected. Wanted a more Up to date book with realistic examples.

I have been studying Chinese for almost eight years since my sophomore year in high school. As a college senior, I feel that this is one of the better textbooks out there. The articles are not too hard to read once the vocabulary has been studied and learned. It will help any serious student of Chinese learn the vocabulary and grammar utilized in the business world.

I have used this book during my graduate studies no less than 7 years ago... And I have since moved to Hong-Kong / China and it has been great to be able to use a lot of the vocabulary that I learned from that text book. I studied Chinese in Taiwan after undergrad (traditional Chinese), but then heading to China, I had to switch to simplified Chinese. This text book provides both traditional and simplified for each text and vocabulary list. The transcription is using pinyin, which requires getting used to when having studied "bo-po-mo-fo" before... But that is not too hard after all.Solid book for anyone who has a good base and wants to get a solid business foundation.

The book was in good condition but cannot find the audio for the book...apparently it's on Fangyuan Yuan's website....the website does not exist =/
