I know it says how big they are, but when I hear votive, I think of a size of a votive, this is more on a tea light size. When I opened the box, the first one I opened, the light didn't work, so opened the second one, that one did work. Not sure where I'm going to use these cause I thought I was getting a votive. I do like the timer, 5 hours on, comes on everyday on the time you turned it on, so if you turned it on at 5pm. It will come on for 5 hours, then everyday it will come on at 5pm. I wish it had where you can leave it on if you wanted to. I can say this little votive does give off good light. Not sure how lucky ng the battery will last, so glad they gave an extra battery for each light. I like the AAA batteries better for some reason, I don't like these flat kind. I gave 4 stars due to one doesn't work, and I thought they would be a true votive. I'm sure I can find some where I can put these, or give a couple to friends :).

I spent a lot of time researching which flameless candles I wanted to get. Even though these candles weren't what I thought i ordered, they are lovely. I must have confused them with another flameless candle set. I thought that I ordered an assortment of sizes and was surprised and confused when a tiny package arrived on my doorstep.These candles are much smaller than I expected them to be but if you read the description it states that the candles are an inch or so tall.I am including pictures to show the size of the candles in comparison to a soda can. (Which is actually a can of fizzy water) I love these candles because they go on at a certain time every day, if this is what you wish for them to do. I plan on gradually growing my collection of flameless candles. Eventually I will have a million or so and they will light up my life at all the different times of day. Next time I will be sure to order an assortment of sizes like I meant to do in the first place, then maybe some colorful ones, then MANY MORE TINY ONES!All in all ... These were a great purchase and they are a wonderful/easy way to achieve a lightened, enlightened, relaxed mood.

If there has been one thing missing in my arsenal of automatic candles--it's votives.I am SO thrilled to have a little votive that I dont have to remember to turn off nightly (and thus burn through batteries quickly). These are perfect inside of little candle holders (they have the unrealistic bulb wick instead of a realistic wick) and like clock work they come on and go off every day. The seller has the great foresight to include 2 batteries per candle, one installed and another as back up---that is going the extra mile. I will order more, I think they are fantastic!!

The candles are wonderful. I've had issues with smaller candles with timers in the past, but these work just like the big guys. I use them to highlight crystal in my cases when I don't want to turn on cabinet lights. It is beautiful. And these candles are small enough to tuck behind most of the things I want to light up. The effect is stunning. I'm also very happy with the timer. When you have to reach around delicate crystal, you don't want to have to do it often for fear of turning something over. These candles are absolutely perfect for what I wanted and work just exactly the way they should. I also thought it a very reasonable price.

I ordered these to use as part of my centerpieces for my early November wedding. I ordered these candles as well as the slightly larger 2"x2.5" LEDs from the same seller. The automatic timer is nice, but not useful for my purposes. As the 2"x2.5" candles do not have a timer function and will need to be turned on manually, we will be turning these smaller ones on at the same time as we do the larger ones. However, I did test out the auto timer on one of these and it works like a charm; came on at the exact same time the next evening. For someone who would like for their candles to be on when they come home in the afternoon I could see this being a very nice feature.Packaging for the product was wonderful and professional looking. Arrived promptly as by the delivery date. Seller also sends follow up emails to ensure you are pleased with the product or have questions. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would recommend to others.

I was very disappointed with these flameless candles. They are tiny little candles that you are supposed to be able to fit inside votives for weddings which is fine but they don't last like they have listed. One of the big reasons I bought these was because they came with their own batteries so I wouldn't have to go out and buy 6 batteries especially the CR2032 watch batteries. I had these on two days for a couple of hours and they died. I had family over at the house on the second day and had them turned on for maybe 3 hours and when I walked by them they were all dead. I can't imagine how annoyed I would be if you I had bought a ton of them and used them at a formal event. It says that they are timed but they weren't on for the 5 hours listed that they would stay on for. They claim that it lasts 70+ hours for each battery which just wasn't true in my experience. I also think it is frustrating that they only stay on 5 hours (again not in my case) and turn off for 19 hours to turn on again at the same time the next day. Maybe I had a faulty batch but I'm not going to buy 6 more batteries at $6 per 2 and end up with the same problem again.

I was searching for small flameless candles to go in some wall sconces I ordered. This happened to pop up and I am so glad they did. I didn't think anyone offered votives with a timer function. I have many flameless pillars with timers set to go on everyone evening, and these coordinate perfectly. I have attached pics of the votives in two locations - a wall sconce ( Hosley ® Set of Two, Iron Wall Sconce, Tea Light Candle Sconces, 7.68" High ) and in a votive holder ( Biedermann & Sons 4 Count Glass Pearlized Floral Votive Holder Pink ).In addition to the fantastic timer feature, the votives are an exceptional value. Each one came with TWO batteries! Overall, I cannot recommend these enough. They are the perfect size for any votive or tealight size holder. I will be buying more as a gift.
