Be warned, this has US hose fittings so cannot be used in the UK. Don't know why it's available for sale on UK Amazon

This product is not comparable with the threads used on domestic British out door taps.

Kept me in Tomatoes all Summer
This unit is rugged and reliable. This past summer, I took a ten day vacation and didn't have to worry about watering the garden due to this. I like the fact that two hoses can be connected and a separate time can be chosen for each hose. It was just a little hard to figure out at first, but I'm not much for instruction manuals, so I "played it by ear" until I figured out how to set the timer, etc. Pretty simple, really. It ran all summer with no problems whatsoever.

Leaking everywhere
When connected for the first time, Water timer is leaking at the tap connector. Couldn’t use it for a single time.

Looks good but not compatible to my tap in AU
Purchased in Australia, I could not find anything at the hardware store that would fit the threads. It seems the pitch is different to the standard ones used in Australia.Worth considering depending on your location.Unit looks good enough quality and easy to use but obviously never put to use.
