Q: Are any of these textured on the outside of the glass?

I have a set of 8 and all of them are textured on the inside. I don't use my dishwasher for glasses and they are really slippery when soapy and wet. Hope that helped someone.

Q: are these microwave safe?

I don’t know but if I were you I wouldn’t order these. The manufacturer’s packaging is not suited for shipping so they break on their way. We order them twice and they came broker both times. So we ended up canceling the order and purchasing something else. Good luck.

Q: is the bottom flat or is there some dent where water can pool after washing in the dishwasher?

The one I bought was the 40128. Not sure how it relates to the 40135. Anyway the bottom is fairly flat only about a 1/4 indentation towards the center not enough to hold water that will not dry in your drying cycle. Definitely not a deep indentation like it seems on the picture.
