Q: What size waist is a large

It measures 34" but there is give in the fabric. I wear them slightly lower than my natural waistline which is 36". Just below my waist is about 39" and they fit just fine. Beware though, if you have thighs that rub together like me, the shorts ride up, it feels like you are wearing a bathing suit. Constantly tugging them down throughout the day.

Q: How long is the skirt? Can someone measure a medium for me? I can't find a length anywhere.
