Don't buy winsinn for 3D printers.
I had 2 40x10 fans die after 2+ months of COVID PPE prints, got bigger fans to help with heatsink cooling and hope they'd perform better + it would take longer to get GDST fans. One of these started making a grinding noise literlly 2 days into continual PPE printing, WINSINN is just garbage, cheap garbage. I got GDST fans in now, I have a dozen 30mm GDST fans running non-stop, no issues, WINSINN is just terrible, 20mm version or 10mm version. I'm not waiting until it fails to replace it -- I'm sending these back, stay away from this brand.

Great upgrade for Creality Ender 3 Pro, CR10: quieter while moving more air
This replaced the stock 4010 heatsink fan on an Ender 3 Pro. It’s definitely quieter than the original while moving more air. It’s not quite as good as a similarly-sized Noctua, but they don’t make 24v units and I didn’t feel like adding a buck converter, especially since the power supply fan is much louder. With that success I also replaced the heatsink fan on a CR10S Pro where it’s working just as well. The picture attached was taken mid-installation so you can see it better. Now I have two spares in case one dies or (more likely) I get another printer with a 4010.If you don’t have a JST connector kit, I strongly suggest buying one. Sure, you can solder the wires, but using plugs gives you a lot more flexibility with swapping out fans, wiring placement, etc. Pro tip: use hot melt glue after you solder the wires to the socket to secure and insulate them. You can see mine in the background of the Ender 3 pic.

Great deal for the price. Updated: Don't last.
Update 6/11/20: After 6 months, I am now on the third of the 4 I originally ordered. The first one started whining loudly after about a month and quit spinning completely after about 3. The second also started whining so loudly I couldn't stand it after about a month of use and I had to swap it out for the one I am currently using. Basically, these don't last.Original Comment:I used this fan to replace the internal rear cooling fan on my CR-10S which had begun to scream like a banshee (ever after oiling). So far, this little fan seems to do the job nicely and is much easier on my ears. The only caveat with this fan is that the insets on the mounting holes are about 1mm less shallow than the ones on the original fan -- which means that the mounting screws that came with it are ever so slightly too short. An M3x20 will BARELY engage, but you can probably make it work. An M3x22 would probably work perfectly.

Not bad, but not outstanding (used in a CR-10S Pro)
On the plus side, there are four for the cost of about one Sunon or Noctua. They're a bit quieter (1-2dB) than the stock fans, but not the improvement I would have preferred. My case evacuation fan didn't have the isolating rubber boot, so there may have been lower overall noise, but the vibration passed to the case and gave a slightly higher pitch noise than stock, so in my use, I substituted noise volume for a higher pitch vibration passed through the case (again, my case had no rubber isolation boot for airflow and vibration). I crimped on some mini-JST connectors to make changing them easier in the future (should that be needed).

replacement fan for inverter
My Lvyuan 700w MSW inverter's (B07G252H9G) cooling fan died after about a month. It was a 40x20mm brushless so I replaced it with a Winsinn dual BB 12v fan (B07L3D5Q4T). It makes about the same amount of noise but moves noticeably more air.I did see some of the other reviews recommending GDST but at the time those were only available in 3-wire for this form factor and I needed 2-wire. We'll see how well the Winsinn holds up.

Exact replacement for iPower 600w Ballast fan
This is an exact fit, including the power connector, for iPower's 600 watt HPS/MH ballast. I had one of these start to get really loud, and it was great to be able to replace the fan instead of the entire ballast. It took only a few minutes to replace, and works great.

Tried many fans and these work great
Using to cool 2a stepper motors in a heated enclosure. Prior to installing these fans my motors would over heat and cause severe lose of steps (“layer skips”).Since intalling that issue has disappeared completely. Enclosure used for ABS, PC, and cast plate nylon.Tons o air flow and there is no issue with seats being caused from the fans, although you can feel the air coming from them at about 8 inches away.

Pass, Not worth it
They vibrated so violently you can feel the vibration transmitting into the 3d printer frame and see the vibration in the 3D print. They were also about 50% louder than the stock Tronxy X5SA fan.I ended up tossing the fans in the garbage.

Good
Very Good, fan moves air much better then the thin one it replaced, i had the room for it so why not. Its a bit louder, but its inside a 3d printer so sound is not an issue, as everything else makes the same or similar noise, a few weeks constant run on them now, bit dusty but still good as new, there Good like i said, just make sure you have the room for them, there thicker than normal fan you find on a 3d printer.

Noisy
One stopped working after a month. Quite noisy, if you want those for your 3d printer than look somewhere else.

Works well but is very loud
Bought for my 3d printers for hot end cooling. These are the loudest thing on my printers now, they are so loud it's crazy reallyDual ball bearing is definitely better than hydraulic, no rattle or sticking, just very loud air movement soundAm going to consider finding some quiet ones

Powerful
They are VERY powerful. If you're printing hi-temp materials and need some extra-cooling, this is your guy.Just be aware: They are considerably noisier than the traditional 4010 fans.

Blow the air, but noisy
Well. the title says - Quiet cooling......not really true. They're blowing some air, but not quiet at all. Balancing is not perfect too. If you dont care about the noise - go for it, otherwise spend a bit more on Noctua fans
