Cute on my small porch
I like this stand as opposed to the stakes because in the midwest, the wind ruins them quickly! This way, it is out of the elements. The stand is a tad wobbly, but it hasn't been a problem in the protected area on my porch. It allows me to display season flags without the constant hassle of unwinding them, or securing them further. I'd recommend it, based on the way it functions.

Works great on solid ground like a patio
Other flag holders were too complicated or blew over but this one works, so we’re very grateful. We have it standing next to a wall in front of chairs so we can watch the flag in the mild wind. Easy to set up and to change flags.
