Solon Foot Solutions Toe Caps 1 Pair

I stubbed two of my toes, which made it a lot easier to re-injure the same toes. By time I got this order, both toes were quite purple and swollen. Not only does this help protect my toes while they healed, it softened the skin on those toes. Also, the toe caps can be cut and shortened to fit the specific toe.I did mark it down one star since it's almost impossible to wear my shoes while wearing these toe caps (even the swollen toes fit into my tennis shoes -- unless I'm wearing these toe caps).

I have bought these several times, and always liked them, but the last time I bought them they cam in a different package, and the product was much inferior. In the past they have come as on a cardboard blister pack as pictured, but this time packaged in a plastic bag (see "disgusting") review. My were fine, but the material was thinner than before, and the cap shorter, with the edges more ragged. They seem wider, so the fit is not as snug.

I have two toes that constantly rub together on hour walks and create a blister on the one toe - I've tried separators which take up too much room in the shoe, the fabric ones roll all the time and eventually the elastic gives. These you can cut to size and pop on over your toe - rubbing gone and doesn't take up too much room in my shoe. Just ordered a second pair because I keep losing them in my socks!

These make your toes feel good! Only four stars because I'm not sure how long they will last. Many things of this nature do not last long though. they fit my big toe perfectly and they can stretch so I see them fairly universal unless you have really big feet (big toe). On other toes it is too big for me so you would need a big toe. Hope that helps. It really takes the friction off if you have an ingrown toenail like I do!

Great protection and comfort - forgot it was on it was so comfortable. Also, it's a plus that it fits on my big man toes. Negatives: I use it for sports and it splits open eventually, so buy more. Also, tape doesn't stick to it (pro and con technically), so sealing it is a challenge when it splits open if you don't have spares.

Pads your toes, but not useful for running. Turned out to be too small for my big toe, too big for my second toe. Ended up buying toe socks to fix my problem. Seemed to hold up ok, nice and soft and squishy, but shoved my other toes up against each other, just making the original problem worse.

Yes and no. 2 purposes, different results. My niece is a runner and tried 1 pair to protect nails she was losing while running. They didn't make any difference. I used them to protect the pain of a hammertoe with good success. I would recommend them depending on intended use.

These toe caps are super soft. They are good for problems if you have blisters or corns between the toes. After wearing a few days they do become sticky, which I do not like. They wash well. Just order enough to replace when they get sticky.
