Baby Songs - Baby's Busy Day

Our 2 year old loves this one too!
We have yet to find a Hap Palmer product that we don't like and this is no exception. We bought this for our 2 year old daughter, after having the Original Baby Songs DVD for months. She liked the Original so much that we figured Baby's Busy Day would be a big hit with her too and it has been. She has enjoyed it just as much as the Original... and so has our 5 year old. Similar to the Original Baby Songs, Baby's Busy Day is filled with simple, catchy and easy to learn songs. We hear our girls singing them often throughout the day.Although, I'm not sure the song "Finger Foods" taught our two year old the correct message with high chair etiquette and ever since watching the video of this song, she has been happily plunging her fingers into various foods and smearing it everywhere. It doesn't help matters that our 5 year old sings the song for her which only encourages more mess. She has received the right message with the song "I Can Put My Clothes on By Myself" and sings it every morning while getting herself dressed. Overall, it is a fun and simple DVD and we would recommend it. Our girls have thoroughly enjoyed watching the videos and singing all the songs.

LOVE HAP PALMER
Baby songs were the go-to video when i was a kid so i knew my son would love them as well. He loves watching the children sing and dance. we have purchased 3 different dvds and all get LOTS of use. only drawback and the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 is that the quality of the plastic the dvds is made from is poor. the center hole on all our dvds has started cracking and pieces of plastic are chipping off. VHS tapes last so much better then dvds but are so expensive. besides the flaw with the dvd itself, these are HIGHLY recommended.

My gdaughter who is only 6 months old enjoys this ...
My gdaughter who is only 6 months old enjoys this DVD. I got it b/c we had used it many yrs. ago when I was a child care provider in a day care center. It is called Baby Songs which is not totally accurate. Some of the songs might be more appealing to toddlers, I think. Somewhere on the cover, it says for ages 1+. Maybe an infant is not a baby, lol Idk.

Daughter-in-law said the baby listened and watched it for the most part but that she was cranky from the length of the drive so
I bought this for my grand daughter's first birthday for when they are traveling in the car to come see me. Daughter-in-law said the baby listened and watched it for the most part but that she was cranky from the length of the drive so it wasn't the best test of it's interest keeping quality. Sorry I am not much help.

Highly Recommended! Timeless classic.
I had these for my children in the 90's and have ordered them for all of my cousins and nieces again in 2014. The songs are age appropriate, and developmentally appropriate. They sing about things relevant to the children's lives. I would recommend the songs for between 6 months - 4 or 5 years old. Infants and toddlers love to watch other children. As a rule I didn't watch television with my children when they were young with the exceptions of some DVD's and Baby Songs were among the few. I would highly recommend Hap Palmer's baby songs; they are timeless.

Awesome songs that toddlers love AND...the 80's....
These DVD's are the best! Hap Palmer is great! All of my children and my sisters children have enjoyed these since the early 90's. This dvd is wonderful for a toddler. She sings the songs and dances to the music. As an added bonus, the parent gets to enjoy/reminisce/ cringe at the fashions of the 1980's...love the music...no fan of the clothes!

Hate that I love this video so much
Do you enjoy annoying songs, with strange kids from the 90's doing totally wacked out dance moves and/or just strange things? Yes? Then this is totally for you. If you hate those things, but you really want your baby to maybe be engaged by the magic box that plays videos, but you can't stand the sounds of Barney or Yo Gabba Gabba, then try Baby Songs. It is nothing short of a miracle/answered prayer for our family. At the same time, we hate it.

BABY SONGS series is AWESOME!
Baby Songs Baby's Busy Day is great, quality entertainment for little ones. My twins (girl/boy) are now 17 months old & they have been enjoying this DVD for about 5 months already. They love all the Baby Songs series actually...BS "Original" BS "ABC,123" BS "Animals", etc. I'm not sure exactly why, but the music & the simplistic visuals of the children singing, dancing, and moving about in the video captures their attention completely. I highly recommend this series for parents wanting some good, clean, quality video entertainment for their youngsters. A++++
