These were very easy to plant and hang. The pots are plastic, but that's nice because it keeps them light. The metal frames are nice and sturdy and did not feel flimsy. They have holes for drainage, but also come with optional plugs for the holes. The gold is shiny and the white is pristine. Honestly, I think they're too fancy for my house, but that's okay, I love them.

I have big bay windows that don't have much room on the shelf below for plants. I also had a bird fly into them recently. :( So I wanted a fun way to hang plants. These are so cute and would fit into most decorating styles. My style is midcentury modern, but they'd work for a modern farmhouse look too. I was a little worried about trying the knots, but it isn't too hard. I just wrapped it around a few times in a decorative way making sure to do some overs and unders to secure it. I had to get the larger cup hooks from the hardware store and used drywall anchors to secure. You need a drill for that, but it's worth it to keep secure. The pots are plastic but look nice. Be careful putting your plants in and out because it's easy to pinch the leaves. I was worried about the circle one slipping, but my plant is heavy enough to hold it tight. It's tied tightly too. Overall, these have been a beautiful addition to my window!Update: I still love these planters. The metal hasn't discolored. I realized the pots have little drain plugs, so if you soak them to water, it's great! My only concern is that my plants have been SO happy they have grown huge. It is a battle to get them back into place without hurting the leaves after I pull the pot out to water them. In retrospect, I wish I had planted something a little smaller and less fast growing than these pothos. But obviously the plants agree with this product review and are super happy with the planters too! I just wanted to update to help folks select the best plants for this planter.

I was searching a long time for a hanging flower pot that had drainage and was easy to water and still looked nice. This meets all those requirements. The plastic pot is easy to remove, and the drainage holes in the bottom are adequate. The silicone plugs for the holes are easy to remove and replace, and stay in place well while the pot is hanging. The rope length is plenty long enough to hang from an 8 or 9 ft ceiling. The only piece this set was missing was some ceiling hooks, but I purchased a 3 pack from the hardware store for about $4. Very happy with this product!

These planters look really good. I wish there were a video to show how to tie the strings for us less capable people, but that’s just me. Haha. I also wish the white holders were a little bigger to give my plants some more room to grow, but overall, they are a nice decorative piece and I get a lot of compliments.

There is so much I absolutely love about these planters. One: The pots lift out of the frame for watering or plant maintenance. Two: there are drain holes so you could actually plant directly in the plastic pot if you desire to. Three: the pot is a better quality plastic, not flimsy or malleable. Four: it’s a good size for root growth. Five: simple design but so dang pretty. I imagine it definitely could hold a much heavier plant. I have not decided where I’ll hang the other yet but I will definitely purchase again, even as gifts for my plant loving friends.

It’s so pretty in person! It really took my plant to the next level and I get tons of compliments on it.The string portion was a little confusing and seemed wayyyy too long. I ended up not using it at all.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this one!! No hassle on watering pots since I like to soak them on water , easier to take on and off without tangling and long ropes makes it easier to access plants. They have drainage holes if you want to put plants directly to provided pot. They appeared to be sturdy and durable. I don’t like paying too much but most ones I see have smaller opening but this one holds a bigger size 6 inch nursery pot. Most only holds a 4 inch pot. I loved it too much I ordered another pair this time the round shaped ones. Triangle shape I’m concerned hitting my window pane .

Used to hang plants In the shower. The plugs come in handy for not dumping soil in the shower when watering. I would buy again. Does not come with hooks.

Easy to install. I took the advice of another reviewer and ditched the rope for metal chain.

These look so good in my living room and they add some interest. I bought gold chain and gold key rings from Micheal’s and used them to hang them instead of the provided rope.

I just thought others might like to know that the rubber things go into the bottom of the pot to waterproof it. If you pinch the sides up they pop in easily.
