A solid rendition of the Dark Knight...
I was looking for a nice Batman figure for a while and decided on this one. I'm a purist and prefer a basic, classic Batman, and this one features what I consider to be the definitive version of the character, so it's the one I chose. This figure has actually been released a few other times:-As "detective"/"crime-stopper" Batman, with a dark gray suit and light blue cape/cowl-As "1989" Batman (a Wal-Mart exclusive), with an all-black suit (as in the Tim Burton movies) and different accessories (a blue batarang and bat-shaped laptop computer)-As part of a 2-pack "VS" box with Clayface (that Batman figure had some clay splotches on it to indicate damage)-And as part of the "Gotham City 5 Pack" (also from Wal-Mart) without any accessories(There's also a variant with the big black bat symbol and a different all-yellow belt with pouches on it)Yeah, I feel like such a nerd for knowing these things, but I did a lot of research to find the figure I wanted! The only thing I'd change on this figure would be the cape, as I think it looks better draping off the shoulders (like on the "zipline" Batman from a few years ago) rather than curling around the neck. It also weighs him back a bit, and hangs back at an angle rather than straight down. I don't mind that the utility belt has tubes rather than pouches, or that the included grappling hook seems oversized. They still look cool. The batarang fits nicely into his hand, though it's pretty basic-looking (I painted mine silver). The stand is just a generic piece of blue plastic (and the peg barely fits into the hole in his foot), but these are small gripes. One thing I have to mention is the articulation. It's great, and there are plenty of poses you can get Bats in, but my figure has really loose joints in the legs and feet, so it's hard to stand him up. Apparently you can use a drop of super glue in the loose joints (move them around as it hardens) to stiffen them up, which I will try soon. (Edit: I did this, and it does help a lot).Oh, and there's also a "collectable" button included with the package. I guess it's nice to have, but I don't like the artwork at all (why couldn't it just be the bat-symbol?).

nah nah nah nah nah nah, AWESOME
All of the other Batman figures are great, but don't hold a candle to this guy. He looks incredible, and he comes with all the goodies

Collector's Item-
I just bought it as a collectors item. It stores nicely and the seller was very seamless to deal with.

Batman for Grandsons
My Grandson loves it, and that is what it's all about. Is there the other member of the dynamic duo available ? If so I will be chasing that up too.True likeness very real, most exciting for a little feller who worships this particular 'Super Hero' his other self.Between them they defeat the forces of evil on a regular basis, me? I am his sidekick Robin even at 76 years of age.
