Must mix before introducing
To all those people saying how their pups got diarrhea after taking this ... it's because you need to mix your previous puppy food with your new puppy food for about a week before fully integrating the new puppy food. This is dog raising 101. Don't blame the manufacturer because your pup had the runs ... you didn't integrate it properly. We've had NO problems with this puppy food. After a week of integrating and mixing her old puppy food, our 4.5 month old pup has been on this brand for the past two months with no issues. The problems with raising pups aren't the pups ... it's almost always the hoomans who don't pay attention.

Gave my puppy diarrhea
We had my puppy on this food for 2 weeks and she had watery diarrhea the entire time. Because of this, she had to poop every 2-3 hours. There were occasions where we had to kennel her to go run an errand and upon returning from our hour-long errand, her kennel would be covered in. Horrible smell. Had to bathe the poor pup every day because of the mess. Sometimes multiple times a day. Night times were insane. Didn't get hardly any sleep the first two weeks because I had to have an alarm set for every 2 hours to let her out.We switched her to Purina Pro Plan Puppy food this past Friday (September 21st) and by Sunday morning her poop was more solid. It's now Thursday the 27th and she has completely solid poop. She can sleep through the night in her kennel, can be left in there for quick errands, and we have no worry about returning to a home that smells like a porti-potty at a music festival.I do NOT recommend this food (Pedigree Puppy) for your puppy. Not at all.

Really good food
I can only assume the flavor is good, they love it. I breed and show Collies and having a good foundation of food is essential. I have done all the high profile feeds, from 80 bucks for a 10 pounds bag, to just above ol roy quality. This food produces the healthiest puppy coats and teeth. With collies, think Lassie, coats are EVERYTHING! I find the food to be balanced enough, and not full of fillers, that is provides a healthy coat without adding too much fat to their diets. It is a great food to keep a stable weight, I have not had any get fat or drop too much weight on this.I have spent hundreds on specialty foods and diets, but I stick to this for pups, and pedigree for adults. That is my personal 30 year experience with trying different foods. Never use science diet or blue.

Our puppy love it!
Our Golden Retriever puppy, who has a very delicate digestive system, LOVES this stuff. I'm not sure why others claim that this gave their puppies gas or diarrhea, we have had no problems.Diarrhea in puppies should ALWAYS be checked by a Vet using a stool sample. Puppies (especially pure-breds from breeders) are prone to all sorts of intestinal parasites such as Coccidia, Giardia, hookworms, roundworms, etc.

Full of mold in chunks!
Bag kept in cool dry place on a shelf. Full of mold in chunks in the bottom of the bag. My poor dog was trying to show us the something was wrong with food but didn’t discover the major mold chunks until we turned the bag over to investigate more why she was treating this dog food differently than the last bag(which was the same brand as the moldy bag) I’m so upset!

Good deal.
I’ve bought the 36lb bag twice now from Amazon. No problems and I’m happy I don’t have to lug it home from the store. My golden retriever pup likes it, he’s super healthy and has no digestive issues. We’ll stick with this brand.

Dirreah all over both of my dogs crates
I bought this dog food for my 6 week old corgi puppy and at first she couldn’t eat it because the pieces were too big. She could finally eat it a month later and when she reached 4.5 months she started having diarrhea in her crate after not having any problems with pooping in her crate before. When I switched her dog food it stopped instantly. There was also one instance where I fed this puppy food to my one year old black lab and he had the same problem. So unless you want diarrhea in your dog crate when your dog gets older. Don’t buy this food or buy a smaller bag because now I have over 20 pounds of dog food I can’t use.

Just really don’t buy this okay
This was the same brand of food that our puppy’s breeder had been feeding her but when she came home I had ordered this big bag of food and she ate it just fine no complaints, however she started to throw up every time she ate a bunch of vets said many different things were happening but I stopped feeding her this food and started feeding her a different brand and sure enough after a day she stopped throwing up after she ate and now she is very healthy. Moral of the story DON’T BUY THIS FOR YOUR PUP!
